Love it!
Love the College Panda series. Very practical tips and also harder questions to practice and learn from, so on test day you really feel prepared.

Great SAT book
I bought all the College Panda books for my 11th grader since the traditional SAT books didn't help that much. We are looking for something to improve the scores before going to use private tutor (hopefully don't need to spend that kind of money). So far, my child explained to me that "All his books are very easy to follow along. In College Panda's Math Guide/Workbook, each topic that comes up or could come up has its own section which gives examples and many questions for practice. Each topic is explained with definitions, examples, reasons for why and how certain outcomes happen and etc. Along with the workbooks, we also read his blogs, email tips, and website. College Panda provides a program for calculators as well if you follow his instructions. All his books are very easy to follow along. Answers are given with explanations in the back of the book." As a parent, I think College Panda's methodology is exactly what I am looking for and wish I got his books sooner! We wasted so much money and time on other SAT practice books.

I have been successfully tutoring students for the SAT for over 13 years. With the New SAT came a dearth of resources. I was so delighted to find Neilson Phu's New SAT math books -- one that reviews content, strategies, and provides drills for categories of Math problems, and a second that provides 10 practice tests for New SAT Math. These books have been extraordinarily helpful for my students. Nielson's website is full of wonderful free resources and blogs as well. This is a man dedicated to a mission to truly help his students. If you are a student looking to score higher on your SAT, you should buy Nielson's books!

Realistic
Solid book, but hard to say 10 tests with minimal explanations is going to help people adequately prepare for the SAT.Nielsons advanced workbook is great for those looking for 700+.This author does have an advanced workbook that you should be buying in conjunction with this one. But if you are in any way looking to save dollars, you can acquire 7 SAT math tests from the college boards website, plus with a little digging you can access the older SATs as well.By far the biggest value in the categories of every question in this book. Take the first three tests. Identifying the questions you had to guess on and you have 7 more tests with those categories covered.

This book and the advanced guide are the best SAT math prep books on the market today
This book and the advanced guide are the best SAT math prep books on the market today. The math problems are clearly explained and much easier to understand than what the college board publishes. Great for kids that can self-study. It helped improve my kid's SAT math score by 60 points. It would have been an additional 90 points improvement if it wasn't for the harsh June 2018 SAT's "equating" curve. If you can't afford these books, look at the website, thecollegepanda.com,which is a good starting point with solid tips and free examples.

This book is a life saver for students who are seeking for a score of 800 on the SAT math. It’s the right choice because it really focuses on the right content of what will be on the real test. With 10 practice math tests, it helps me improve my score in 2 months. I combined this book with the SAT math: Advanced Guide and Workbook to nail the math score. And let me tell u a secret : this book + Advanced Guide and Workbook = Perfection.

Excellent
My daughter used these to prep for the SAT last fall. She scored 740. The SAT is very similar from one test to the next. The process of taking multiple tests is a great way to prepare. The tests were representative of the types of questions she saw on the actual test. Many of these books are not worth it. This one is.

LRM Feb, 2017 Good questions but poorly proofed.
Good questions but not well proofed. I tutor math SAT and ACT, and I always work through the problems before using a book with my students. Some questions (and diagrams) are presented inaccurately and others have mismatched workouts in the solutions section. These mistakes could be very confusing to students who are using the book in independent study.
