Smaller than expected. It's a Christmas gift so I haven't opened the box but the box is small.

I was a little confused by the assembly instructions of this coat rack because the lower supports for the small shelf have no way to secure themselves to the backing. So, you can literally just take them out at any time after assembly, leaving the shelf completely unsupported. To remedy this, I put two small picture-frame brads into the bottom of the supports to tack them not only to the backplate, but the the wall as well (See second photo). It's seemed to work well thus far, but I won't be trusting anything even remotely heavy to that shelf.The whole piece is constructed out of very thin, three-ply plywood with what looks and feels like a plastic appliqué on the visible surface. It's cheap, but it looks nice. Considering that it's $30+, though, I was hoping for more substantial construction materials.The entire rack assembly is supported on the wall by two wood screws AND adhesive across the entire back plate, so if you have reservations about putting adhesive on your wall, you'll want to either give this item a miss or investigate other ways to secure it to your wall (perhaps by adding additional screws). The hooks seem to be rather sturdy as well, but I would make sure to put at least one of the mounting screws into a stud or use really good drywall anchors.

I love this mounted rack. I got it for my frequently used purses to switch out on the fly. It’s a 4 star for me because the shelf pieces it with came don’t stay in place well when assembled together; they jiggled around easily. So, I Rhino glued all the pieces in place and hammered them in to stay put. The main piece with the dog & cat came with a peel-off sticky portion covering the back which you are suppose to attach to the wall. This would be great if the entire piece would sit flat when assembled, but it doesn’t sit flat. If I had used the stick-on portion the shelving would not have been flat against the wall. I also did not want the paint potentially ripped off my wall. Overall, it was a good purchase for what I wanted it for.

Very nice coat rack. However, be sure to read the description as it is plastic not metal. It also has a little shelf on it which is hard to see in the picture.

Looks nice but kinda small

Our granddaughter is in love with wolves. She fell in love with it as soon as she opened the box. I'm glad all the mounting hardware was included. The voids in the display are perfect for any color background the wall happens to be. The hooks are especially perfect for hanging a young girls' wardrobe.
