ECO-WORTHY 12V 5A Automatic Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer LCD Display for Lead Acid and Lithium (LiFePO4) Battery Tender

I normally don't comment on any products, but I was surprised by this product - it is a pretty well engineered charger. It has multiple modes of operation and seems to adequately charge a battery (lead-acid typical automobile battery in my case) - AND seems to have a well designed approach that adequately slows the charging rate (current) as the battery approaches its full capacity.. This obviously is important and so much better for battery health rather than just jamming current into the battery. It also has a handy readout of the battery State of Health (SOH). The read-out screen is very useful for monitoring charging progress. The device is physically solid and cables are easily connected.I'd prefer that the alligator clips had more teeth. The user manual needs work, but then again, their English is better than my Chinese. It's not the least expensive charger on the market, but i wanted a charger with a read-out showing progress; it's certainly well priced. Overall I'd give it a 9/10.

Charges my LifePo4 and Deep Cycle batteries. It does get quite warm to the touch but not burning hot. So far it has functioned quite well. I use it charge LifePo4 batteries before i put them on the solar charger (cuts down on the charging time) otherwise it tops off and maintains a few deep cycle batteries I have left over.

Charger failed to even attempt to charge the same-brand 50ah LifePO. Let it go dead.We'll see if the MFG has any suggestions or replaces it.Updated: During initial use i left two small led celing lights on and this drained the battery. For some reason this 5a charger couldn't compensate with a charge and draw. I topped off battery (lifepo) with a 10a NOCO then put this one back on and shut off ceiling light. No trouble. However i want a light on to discourage mice in the trailer. I will teat more with only one of the lights on and maybe they draw more voltage than this charger can put out . They are small lights...Will follow up. I was hopeful....

Works Great. A must have for your Lithium Battery.

Unit worked great when i first got it, charged my brand new battery's to 100% and when i went to use it for the second time i noticed the volts were low and it flashes 5.2 to 5.3 none stop, volt meter does not read the same as the display and after 15min its extremely hot on the bottom of the charger, also never shows more then 10% charged. i had a battery on it for 10 hours still showed the same thing 5.2 to 5.3 and 10% charged i tested battery and battery was at 13.28 volts and charger said 12.2

This was a replacement for another vendors charger that did not work and was past the return window. This unit worked exactly as expected and charged my 50ah LiFePO4 battery for Winter Field Day. Easy to use and provided the condition of the battery and charge on the screen.
