This tape works really well to hold a rug to its pad. I use this on the rugs in my front hallway, which get a lot of traffic, and the adhesive is pretty easy to apply and stays stuck until I peel it off. I also use this to keep two large flatweave rugs attached to their pad because our robovac kept lifting up the edges. The tape works well in both cases! The roll has lasted a long time— I have had to redo the tape on my hall rugs a few times when I have pulled the rugs up to wash them and the pad.

I was using the tape to join 2 pieces of carpet. Be careful when using it because it sticks like glue. It makes a good job of a joint.

This stuff is ridiculously sticky! I for sure ruined my scissors. Perfect for patching a small piece of carpet, and where my carpets separated at a seam. I would buy again for repairs.
