No. This product is black and dries black. Best practice (follow the directions to apply) and I suggest putting an application to each surface (as best you can) that you are trying to adhere, then after a a short period (a few minutes or so) press the two surfaces together and keep pressure on whatever your are adhering and leave alone until the product has completely dried (like over night or up to 24 hours).

Q: How bad does this smell while working with it? Does the smell go away on your glued items after the glue dries? If so, how long does that take?

The smell was not very bad. I used it outdoors and left it out for a few hours to dry. It did not smell at all after it dried.

Q: Need cement for leather to a cast iron vice jaws? will it hold?

It will bond but the secret will be to get the leather suurface and the iron vice jaws coated with the Barge cement (let each set for a time) then pressing the two surfaces together and keep pressure on them (such as a clamp or a weight) to let the bonding completely seal/dry. Good luck.
