Mancala With Wooden Board and Quartz Pebble Playing Pieces, “Natural Wood”

Excellent. Fun to play. My great grandchildren love playing it with me and I get a chance to teach them the strategy within ther game. Great learning for them.

Not only is this an excellent game, but a beautifully crafted version, carved from wood with jewel-like stones as counters. Made a lovely Christmas gift. Very unusual.

Great chunky wood board with glossy tumbled stones that are more varied (and prettier) than shown in picture. One thing I realised pretty quickly is that the holes in the board are a little too narrow and deep to remove a build-up of stones easily. In the end I substituted the pretty stones for uncooked dried chickpeas! These are much easier to pick up and it's easier to see how many are in the hole when they start to build up.

Dropped one star because the beads can be a bit tricky to handle during play, especially if you're aiming for speed or precision. Still, a stylish and satisfying set for game night.

Good solid feel to the wood and pretty counters make this worthy of being a table centre as well as fun game

The board feels really solid, with a nice carved design on top. The recesses are the prefect depth - they hold enough beads but it's easy to take the beads out with one hand. The beads themselves are quite attractive - smoothly polished and I believe they are quartz rather than glass. Slightly more expensive than the cheapest sets, but much nicer to own and play with friends.

I bought it gift for my parents 59 wedding anniversary and they really liked it. They were playing the game on their honeymoon and they loved the idea of the gift. Good material. 👌🏾

We love our games and bought this as a gift for our 5th “Wooden Anniversary” nice board and lovely little stones , easy to learn and play. Nice addition to our board game collection 😄

La madera y el detalle del tablero están muy bien. Las piedras son bellísimas, no es resina sino piedritas pulidas de varios tamaños y colores. Uno de mis juegos de mesa favoritos muy recomendable.

The carving is absolutely gorgeous. Plus, pots are deep enough so stones don’t fall out during gameplay. It’s been through quite a few games and tumbles at this point and has held up. No missing pieces, everything as expected - If you like mancala, get this board!
