Q: How do you use the rinse aid option? What is the white piece in the rinse aid spot?

There is a place in the door for rinse aid. I have soft water so I don't need a rinse aid. When the light comes on during the cycle where it would normally release it, nothing comes out. Basically I don't worry about it.

Q: Is this stainless steel inside?

The door, back wall and sides are stainless steel. Top inside and bottom inside is some kind of plastic material.

Q: Several talk of built-in use, but no specifics on what is needed. What size fitting for fill tube?

All I know is that we tried the help number in the manual and they were no help, my husband took the hose with him to a hardware store and they didn't have anything so he tried a plumbing supply place - they suggested it was probably a metric fitting and were able to refer him to a place that carried the necessary parts - but I have no idea what the actual size turned out to be, but the hose can be detached from the machine so that you can take it with you shopping.
