Good stuff
Last year I bought a quart of this based on a recommendation from a friend. I liked it so well, I bought a second quart, and I use it on our cruiser. It goes on easily, penetrates well and has held up well since the last application. I put the first coat on with a rag but have since used a paintbrush for a heavier coat.

Easy to apply and works great!
I used to use Cetol on my teak bright work, but I tried Seafin on some other areas and decided to try it on all of the exterior teak. Really holds up, even areas exposed to weather and sun, and it is easier to apply. I use it on my deck furniture, too!

Used this stuff for almost 50 years - never found better
Learned about Daly's Seafin in the early '70's from an old wooden boat fanatic in Seattle. Used it on a boat I built, then started using it on anything I made from wood. Do not confuse it with other products from more recognized brands - Seafin is superior in every way (except maybe price). Very thin, it penetrates deeply, then hardens and strengthens the wood fiber. You'll need a minimum of 3 coats, waiting a day between each, before you can consider how you want to wrap it up - as-is, waxed, hard top coat of another product, or further coats buffed to a however much shine you seek. Only downside is once you've opened the can and air gets in, you've got about a year to use it. It's pricey stuff, so I've tried about every other brand of oil finish out there - nothing compares to the finish, the benefit to the wood itself, or the longevity of protection in the elements. Seafin is what an oil wood finish should be. Somehow, these guys got it right, and nobody else comes close, so far.

Take your time
I used the Daly's Teak Oil on top and the Ship & Shore sealer, both products were very compatible. However even the Teak oil needs several coats with sanding in between before a final smooth film will develop and fill in the grain. When finished, the (interior) table will look amazing and be well protected against the marine environment. These products are more forgiving than Varnish.

Great oil - does the job and does it well
This oil made such a difference on our teak outdoor furniture! I researched a number of different teak oils and landed on this one based on my research and the various reviews. Not disappointed! We oiled a table, 4 chairs and a bench with one can and it gave us a flawless finish. Already ordered a second can for other projects!
