FARBIN Air Horn for Car, Train Horn for Trucks, Loud 12v Car Horn Kit with Relay Harness and Switch Button

It’s a good quality horn, easy to install either instead of your existing horn (clear instructions provided) or as addition. The sound is pretty loud although different to a standard car horn sound (more like a boat or truck) a bit on a higher note so definitely raise attention of anyone in vicinity. My horn was not working at all so i installed it as a completely new system. Wires are good quality, press button too. The only thing is the wires that go to battery are to short and needed extensions if you are to place the horn on usual spot which is at the front of engine bay and near front bumper. Other than that it a great quality car horn.

You must set it away from engine bay, the turbine got damaged in 2 days if placed anywhere under the hood, gotta be carefull with its placement, if good vented location will work fine

Install takes some Napa know how but better than moto horn

This is my 2nd vehicle which I add this type of horn. First was a Bad Boy and now this one, the Farbin. This is a fraction of the price of the Bad Boy, AND, it comes with all the wiring and relay, so much better deal. They both sound pretty similar, so really no justification to pay more. Installation took a while given the tight spaces and the difficulty to thread the button wire from the inside to the engine bay. Nothing related to the horn itself. But I did find the manual lacking in details and photos. Had to research and analyze it for a while (I'm not a pro installer nor an electrical engineer). So there's definitely room for improvement in the installation instructions space.

We actually purchased 2 different horns (this one and another from a different vendor) and we can attest that this one is indeed loud enough ( a lot louder than a car horn, but not a real life train horn), the other one we purchased was similar to a regular car horn in regards to the decibels, although it was being advertised as a train horn. This FARBIN horn will definitely make people notice you and/or get out of the way, what makes this one louder than the other one we bought, is that this one is an Air horn. Now, just to ensure that no one is misled by this review, I would like to add that we have a friend who had a set of 3 "train-hornblasters" professionally installed and you can not be standing next to his vehicle when those are triggered (but he paid quite a bit of money for those). So, although this FARBIN "train-sounding" horn is fairly loud, it is not at the same level of our friend's. Nonetheless, for the cost, it is a bargain that you can't pass and will not be disappointed. That is why we are giving it 5 starts and it is a keeper for us (we will update this review to see if it stands the test of time).
