Perfect if you live in the world of "Good Enough"
THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:The original mesh was a little too small for my door. I realize now that this was my fault and not the fault of the product. Since it did not fit properly, it did not always close correctly and it soon developed a tear in the bottom corner. The tear was more than just an inconvenience, but my dogs' heads sometimes got stuck in the hole and they would be trapped in the mesh until I realized it and freed them.Since the hole was becoming an issue for the dogs' safety, but I still needed a mesh on the porch door, I ordered a second and discovered that I could order a larger size. (I know, "DUH" right?) This was even easier to put up since I knew how to do it and since the velcro tape was still on the door frame from the previous mesh. The sticky stuff was still strong and I just had to adjust the location a little and supplement them with new tape. The it was just pull down the old mesh and put up the new mesh. The new mesh fits perfectly and works near perfectly. There is sometimes a gap at the bottom that does not close all the way. If I nudge it with my foot, it usually closes immediately. I would say that the mesh closes all the way better than 90% of the time. So, taking into consideration that the right size makes for a more enjoyable experience, I am bumping it up to FIVE STARS. It is still not perfect (but what is?), but it does the job and is better than "good enough."ORIGINAL REVIEW:During nice weather, I enjoy spending all my time in my enclosed back porch, overlooking my large back yard, listening and witnessing the nature outside my window. It was fairly easy to put up. It is a bit narrow for the door on which I need it.I also have three dogs, and when I am working, I was left with the choice of leaving them inside, enclosing them on the porch, or leaving them outside. When outside, they are cut off from their food, and even though there is a large dog house, only two dogs will use it.My remedy as of late has been to prop open the porch door that leads outside, so that the dogs can come and go as they wish to eat or to get out of the sun or rain. The downside is that it leaves a giant opening for insects and whatever else wants to venture in.I saw a commercial for the Magic Mesh and figured I'd give it a shot. If it works, it would solve the problem until the weather turns cold again. Frankly, I thought the one on TV was the one I was buying. It is not. This is not the one that "clicks," but it is the same basic idea.So now for the part you care about.THE PROS:*It basically does what it says it does*The material seems durable. I'll let you know how much after a month or so. But for the most part it can handle my dogs going in and out regularly (my one year old blasts through it quickly and forcefully and it stays firm.*The glue holding the velcro strips onto the door frame is strong, and there is plenty of extra of the velcro strip to replace any pieces that fall away over time.*The dogs are not afraid of it. When first installed, my dogs just assumed it was a closed door. I gently guided them through it a few times and they figured it out -- some more quickly than others. Part of the trick for the dogs' learning is that they have been conditioned that doors open at the sides, so they were nosing around the door frame looking for an opening, rather than in the middle. After a few days, they all pretty much had it figured out.THE CONS:*It is narrow and almost does not fit the door frame. I do not believe that the door frame is extra large. The screen can be adjusted on the velcro to get a tight fit.*It takes a bit of adjusting and repositioning to get the screen to be tight but also still be able for the magnets to close it.*There are gaps around the side. So, once it is set up how you want it, you will probably want to seal around the edges with packing tape or something to seal off the gaps and keep smaller insects out.CONCLUSION:It's not perfect. But if you are willing to live in the world of "Good Enough" then it is perfect enough. It basically does what it says it does, just not as perfectly as suggested. Those imperfections can be dealt with by supplementing the installation with things like tape around the borders.I will post a follow up comment as time goes by to inform consumers of how long it lasted and of any issues that developed over time.

Does the Job
The mesh is sturdy, attractive, functional (it even smells great) and the magnets work great.

Installation Not Bad, Works Fairly Well
I purchased the Magnetic Screen Door to go on a sliding patio door. Our dog consistently paws at any screen we install in the door, immediately causing tears and rips. The Magnetic Door may be able to avoid that (it's early days yet and the dog hasn't quite decided if she'll attack this contraption or not). There were some initial delivery issues (not the fault of Amazon or the vendor iGotTech; the delivery company was at fault) and iGotTech stayed in touch via email until the product arrived. Five stars for customer service for both iGotTech and Amazon.Installation was cumbersome because I did a 'one man' installation; having two people would have made things easier. The instructions are to lay the screen flat, put the Velcro on the top and sides, then put the entire shebang on the door, starting at the top center.Working alone I did things a bit differently, I put the Velcro across the top and sides of the door frame first, then fitted the screen to the Velcro; the Velcro isn't cut to fit; it arrives on a roll and must be trimmed by the installer. There is no spare Velcro - only enough is supplied to do the job so if the installer ruins a piece he/she will have to obtain more Velcro elsewhere.Velcro does not go across the bottom of the screen. This means that the bottom strip of the screen hangs free and is NOT attached to the door; to my mind this is a potential path for crawling bugs (such as ants) to enter the house. Flying insects, perhaps, not so much - they would have to go "down and under and in"; but crawlers can go up the side of the house, behind the unattached screen bottom, and have easy entrance. I plan to put a little insect spray just near that bottom area to help keep the bugs outside. For my application the width was perfect but the length is over by perhaps 3 inches. Since there are magnets in the middle seams rolling up the spare material doesn't appear to be an option. Of course this isn't a fault of the product; our door is just oddly sized (we had to replace the glass in one of the sliding storm doors and found that they aren't a standard size).Functionally the product seems to work O.K.; sometimes the magnets don't properly come together and a light slap at the door to complete the seam is required. Due to the overlegnth (again, not a downcheck on the product, rather a reflection of our door) sometimes the extra material gets bunched at the bottom. A quick nudge with the foot puts everything to rights. I think a glance at the screen to make sure everything is sealed will be a common practice. (How we're going to train the dog to do that I've not quite figured out yet). It's too early to comment on longevity of the screen - I'll be pleased if the dog doesn't destroy the thing in short order. The product does come with push pins to hold the Velcro in place on a wooden door, but our door is metal. If there are issues with the Velcro slipping (it seems pretty well attached right now) my plan will be to use self-tapping metal screws of the appropriate size. If things go awry and I abandon the project the small holes in the door can be easily filled with Liquid Steel or some other such and painted over. (The door is not aluminum, but rather a stamped steel design).I'm rating at four stars and not five because (1) the magnets don't always close the gap completely, (2) the bottom of the screen is not attached and thus allows a path for insects, and (3) adding a bit of extra Velcro for the convenience of the installer wouldn't hurt.If there are issues going forward I'll edit this review, but for now this iGotTech Magnetic Screen door seems to be a pretty good bang for the buck.HTHRegards,Jim

Great product
The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I was looking for. I like that the netting doesn’t prevent a good view out the window like some other versions of this kind of product do - it’s very lightweight. Extremely easy installation. I installed it too low so I had to redo it at the top, but at my own fault. Velcro was very strong. Adhesion of the Velcro seems fairly good right now, but not sure how it will hold up. Magnetic closure in the middle is great and quick.

Great product.
Great product, better than others by far. The screen attaches to the whole perimeter of the door which is a huge plus. It has held up well and I would definitely purchase again.
