Are these pieces compatible with the Mindware brand pieces? We already own a Mindware set and would like to buy this to add on to it.

I think they are. We have both, and my son was able to fit the pieces together.

Glass, and we bought extras to keep the excitement level up.

I really don't know. You might want to ask the manufacturer. I do believe that there are different, and possibly larger, sets available. Great toy!

Sturdy, kids love it.

Made from a good strong plastic, easily put together, and is pretty sturdy. Might have to make a few minor adjustments as with any structure you build. My 12 year old helped my 4 & 7 yr old build the picture on the box. The 7 year old was also able to build his own. My 4 year old liked watching the marbles roll down.
