I replaced the worn, weathered, and broken antenna in less than 5 minutes. I used a little loc-tite when installing the new antenna. I just completed a 3500-mile road trip. This works great unless you are in a tunnel or mountain pass. I would recommend this product to any one.

The static from my other antenna disappeared, so I know now there was a "break' in the wire somewhere. Replaced it in 5 minutes.. Screwed the old one out and in went the new one.
