Q: Anyone know of a noiseless substitute for the fat 50s middle pickup? Silent backplates dont work (RWRP wound). Love the pick up, hate the hum, I need one closest to the tone, either Fender or SDuncan.

The Fender Vintage Noiseless Strat Pickup Set for $199.99 is the closest noise-cancelling pickup that Fender offers. You will get the same tone, response, and range without the 60-cycle hum.

Q: How long are the wires?

Well, they would need to reach from the top pickup to at least the first potentiometer and the switch, so I would say anywhere from 6-8 inches +/-. When I wired my strat, I cut them so I didn’t have a bunch of excess.
