Es un libro que está impreso con la mejor calidad: papel encerado y hojas impresas a todo color. Respecto al contenido puedo decir que es muy completo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente ya que uno no encuentra curos de MATLAB en plataformas tipo COURSERA o EdX y está es una buena alternativa para emprender aprendizaje de forma autodidacta.

Just what I was looking for

Personalmente ritengo che aiutarsi nella scrittura di codici con un testo lineare e ben organizzato sia piu' semplice rispetto all'utilizzo esclusivo dell'help o del sito di matworks. Ho comprato quindi questo libro dopo aver letto un po' di pareri in rete su alcuni forum, dovendo iniziare ad usare intensivamente matlab per lavoro. Il libro ha un ottimo rapporto da quantita' (e qualita') dei contenuti e prezzo. Il testo si divide in due parti: la prima, pensata per utenti alle prime armi, tratta sia i concetti fondamentali della programmazione (algoritmi, funzioni, differenza tra programazione procedurale ed orientata agli oggetti, etc) sia le basi per iniziare ad usare matlab in maniera elementare. Personalmente, avendo gia' una discreta esperienza, ho in gran parte saltato questa parte del libro. La seconda parte tratta di argomenti avanzati, quali funzioni speciali, statistica avanzata, classi ed ereditarieta', grafica avanzata e realizzazione di GUI. Il pacco e' arrivato nei tempi previsti e ben imballato. COnsigliato

To use this very practical book effectively, one must(should) have some level of the...MATLAB software...installed or have access to it.Though not a Programmed Instruction book, common in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, you are encouraged to work your way through the book. I had a third edition of this book and this book really taught me how to program in MATLAB. Now the fourth edition of this book came out and I waste no time to purchase it immediately from Amazon since it has several new features including Object-Oriented Programming. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who really want to learn MATLAB.
