Got this battery bank especially for a chest rig while bass fishing. I had the GoPro set "Hind Sight" for 6 hours, and recorded about 7 videos (none of them any longer than 3 min). The GoPro battery remained at 100% the whole time - while the Suptig bank dropped down to 3 lights (at 75%). This worked great for my needs. But I can see this lasting for 12 hours - IF you have your GoPro set for "Hind Sight 15 seconds". It's a little heavy. Can't see anyone using it on a helmet rig. I'd stick with the chest rig. You'll be happy with the long battery bank time. Is it Waterproof? That depends on if you're transporting it, or actually using it. As another poster said - when you're actually accessing the ports with cables, and using it, this thing IS NOT Waterproof at all . The ONLY way it may be "waterproof" is by screwing the nut that came with it on tight. The O-Ring will close and seal the main unit. This would be helpful IF you're going through a rain forest and need the battery sealed to withstand getting wet. But for normal use of the USB and USB-C ports, you HAVE to remove the waterproof screw. At which time... it's exposed and is NOT waterproof at all. I give this product 4 stars because of this "waterproof" claim. Other than that, it works great at keeping your GoPro charged.

Used the charger for and extended time today for the first time. It powered my GoPro 3 on record for 7 and 1/2 hours and still had 2 of the 4 lights lights lit indicating amount of charge remaining. That would have taken 8 of the regular batteries. I started with a fully charged battery in the camera. It was still charged after recording was completed.

I set up my go pro hero 13 and did a 4.5 hour Timelapse set for every 5 seconds. Go pro battery was at 100% when done, only lost the 4th light at 4 hrs of recording. It could have gone 12 more hours I believe. Does not come with good instructions. I’m still not sure how to turn it off: one press/double press/press and hold? I still don’t know how I turned it off but eventually it shut off. Instructions say to install the water proof cover to use underwater, but if you put the cap on you cannot use it underwater as the power ports would then be blocked.

As written in the product page, battery supports the camera (GoPro13) even withOUT the internal battery, which helps greatly with overheating. However the waterproof cable is not included, even if it is clearly visible in the video with the product description. The waterproof cable should come with the battery, as it is the battery that needs it, not the camera. GoPros can work underwater perfectly, and with the new magnetic port there is no reason to buy the camera case, especially for situations where at most it'll be rain we're worried about

Great product

I do outdoor fishing content from a kayak, so finding something that was water proof was top priority. Says it’s water proof, but the “water proof” cables they come with don’t stay plugged in when tightening down. Doesn’t give enough power to run GoPro without a battery inside so, overheating is gonna be an issue regardless. Pretty straightforward installation, seems durable enough, but the cables like I said either don’t stay sealed, allowing for water to intrude, or come unplugged. They are somewhat heavy too, so having them on a stand or bipod will cause your camera to slowly drop, unless you have a super durable mount and bipod. Customer service is why I’m giving this one star. I reached out to see if I could get another cable, since one of the ones sent was broken, zero response, zero contact with me. Get it if you need external power for a cell phone, stay away if you’re using GoPro’s.

This allows me to extend my gopro 360 camera footage for sailing races which take a few hours. Without this my camera battery dies about half way through the race even if i use a blutooth switch to economize the battery usage

So far so good the battery works as it should I would recommend that is you are looking for a well priced good quality item buy it

「Suptig 交換用防水ケース 保護ハウジング」との接続に期待したが、ハウジングに付いている給電USB-Aが防水コネクタでないため接続して水中で使えない。ところがアリエクに防水のUSB-Aコネクタ付きケーブル売ってるから注文して納品待ち。もしアリエクのケーブルが使えれば評価も見直したい。 【追記】 アリエクから防水コネクタ付きケーブル届きましたのでGopro用の防水ハウジングと接続してテスト。防水性（水深3mに1時間）も電気的にも問題なし。元々にこちらのバッテリーはケーブルが付いていないので☆5です。Goproハウジングはケーブル付けて欲しかったので少し評価を下げました。 ただ、構造的に防水性能10m以上は信用しない方が良いと思いますね。白い防水パッキンは閉めるときに巻き込んで変な潰れ方をしたり、ケーブルの入る部分も防水は怪しいです。
