Excellent manual fisheye
The first fisheye I ever own. Love it

Excellent value
Better optically than expected. Far from perfect, but VG for what it is. Note that careful focusing makes a big difference.

Excellent value
I think the value of this lens is incredible. The attached picture is a jpeg version (from Canyonlands NP), with minimal processing. Of course, a (very) expensive lens would give better results. But this $140 lens mounted on my M50 is infinitely better than expected. Kudos to 7artisans! Also, it's fun and easy to use.

A fun lens for not too much money
A nice super wide angle lens that’s not quite a true fisheye but does produce images with a fair amount of rectiliIt does provide a full frame image, unlike a true fisheye. near distortion. The mount is metal, not plastic, which is a plus. The controls are a bit cramped and difficult to use, but this is a lens you basically set and forget. For the money, it’s a good deal, especially if you catch one of the frequent sales. Five stars for fun.

Good lens with some drawbacks
I have been a fan of 7artisans lenses for a while, especially the first generation 7.5mm f/2.8, which I found to be an excellent performer. However, my experience with the 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 II has been mixed.**Pros:**- **Build Quality:** The lens feels solid and well-constructed, maintaining the high standards set by its predecessor.- **Affordability:** It remains a budget-friendly option for those looking to explore fisheye photography without breaking the bank.- **Improved Chromatic Aberration:** There is a noticeable improvement in handling chromatic aberration compared to the first generation¹.**Cons:**- **Softness at Infinity:** My main issue with the 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 II is its performance at infinity focus. The images tend to be too soft, which is disappointing, especially for landscape and astrophotography where sharpness at infinity is crucial².- **Flaring:** The lens is prone to flaring, which can be a challenge in certain lighting conditions¹.- **Distortion:** While expected in a fisheye lens, the distortion can sometimes be excessive and difficult to correct in post-processing¹.Overall, while the 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 II has its strengths, the softness at infinity focus is a significant drawback for me. I hope future iterations can address this issue to make it a more versatile and reliable lens

FLIMSY LENS, BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT
The metal ring used to attach the lens to the camera broke within 6 months of use. Customer support is basically unreachable, I've tried calling and have had no answer. They also have an international number, so just trying to call them costs money. I also tried to get help through Amazon, and they just gave me the company email. The lens is nice, but too flimsy for constant use [or I happened to get a bad one]. You get what you pay for.

More versatile than a "true" fisheye on m43
The fisheye look is classic, but also somewhat of a niche tool. I often find it too be a bit too extreme for its own good. I think that's why I like this product so much. On an aps-c camera this is a true fisheye. On m43, it retains the fisheye character, but toned down just a bit. In my opinion that makes it a little more versatile. I find myself using this lens much more than I thought I would.A couple of minor points...1. The friction lens cap is not my favorite. I would prefer something like what you'd find on the samyang/rokinon lens2. I personally don't like the click-less aperture. I find its always in a different position every time I go to use the lens3. Rear lens cap had a very loose fit.
