I don't use hex sockets very much, so purchasing a more expensive set for well over $100 isn't a smart idea. That money goes towards Tekton's new ratcheting wrenches 😁. I've owned this set for over a year and used it a handful of times, most recently for removing my throttle bodies and rear differential drain plug.The case is typical blow mold, but it holds the sockets tightly and saves space in my tool cabinet. The chrome finish is good, and the hex bits themselves are machined well and also seem to be good quality. I've made sure to wipe the hex portion with oil after each use since the first time I didn't it began to rust. With SAE and metric sizes, I don't think I'll ever run across another hex socket head fastener I don't have the bit for.At under $30, the value for money is stellar. I would have loved to see a lifetime warranty, but due to the very low price, not having that is very understandable. I haven't torture tested any of the sockets, and I wouldn't crank on them like I would a set with lifetime warranty (I hate gaps in sets), but for my light duty shop use these have been sufficient. This set meets all of my needs for hex bit sockets and I can save money for tools that I use much more regularly.

Everything you want in Allen wrenchs

So far I've only used these 3 times at work. They've been mostly great. Today I had a 1/4-20 cap screw that requires a 3/16 bit to remove. Well my regular L shaped Allen wrench fit it just fine but this socket didn't. I went and grabbed a couple brand new screws and found the same result. The bit inside the socket is stamped 3/16, it just doesn't fit. I ended up touching each flat to the belt sander for a split second to take off the coating and it works fine now. Sorry I didn't put a caliper on it first to see the actual size. All the other sockets I've used seem correct. For the money, it's a pretty good set. Let me know if you have the same issue with the 3/16 if you decide to buy it.

Nice case that’s marked with the sizes. Have done the work I’ve needed of them. No problems yet and don’t foresee any in the future.
