The rug itself looks good and once unrolled it lay flat. It does not move on our wooden flooring, not even when I run the vac over it. I dislike being negative but try to be honest in my reviews as I myself rely upon reviews when considering making a purchase.What lets the rug down is the trim around the edges. It consists of thin shiny plastic looking material that is horribly wrinkled, thus making what could be a lovely looking rug appear cheap and nasty. It's a shame that the finishing touches to this rug are so tacky. The rug is "beauty," the edging the "beast."I wouldn't recommend purchasing this because of that

Great hallway runner, easy to clean and doesn’t slip

We bought two for our kitchen tiled floor during the winter monthsI do think these were expensive for what they are.As they came rolled the rubber isn’t lying flat.Hopefully they flatten out and last.
