I use this for both Pilates and the MELT method exercises, and I absolutely love it. It is a soft, forgiving foam that still allows me to feel enough pressure where I need it. It is fantastic for massaging the back of the head in order to relieve neck tension and headaches. Highly recommend if you were looking to start doing MELT but couldn't justify spending so much money on the name brand roller. Or if you are just looking to use it for pilates or general foam rolling, it works well for that too! I look forward to using my roller every night as a massage as well as after my workouts.

Exactly what I needed. I had been trying to use a hard foam roller but it was painful. I learned about these soft ones at a spa where I was informed that most experts were now recommending these over the hard ones.. It was wonderful to use, painless. This one is the exact same one used at the spa for a fraction of the price charged on the manufacturer's web site.

At this price point, I did not expect the foam roller to arrive with inner packaging partially unwrapped and divots in the roller. Still functional and helpful for pain relief. But too pricey for the condition it's in.

Recovering from a broken back I was using a medium/ firm roller to do the necessary stretches to strengthen my back muscles and it was always a little uncomfortable at first. THIS soft foam roller is AMAZING and was recommended by my physical therapist. I love it and am very happy with this purchase. Alittle expensive but worth every penny.

A lot softer than I was expecting. I have a hard time working anything out with this.

I love using this for cracking my back. This was suggested from my PT for help with a herniated disk. Some of my exercise required it. But if put the roller just about your waist and roll down it gives the best back crack!

Just the right firmness. More on the softish side. Works well and better than others I have tried, which were too hard.

This is a great starter foam roller that is a little softer which allows you to get used to foam rolling which can be painful for beginners...this is the perfect roller as it allows you to hit tender spots without hurting yourself.
