Awesome balance bike!
This strider has been perfect for my little boy. He got it for his third birthday and is now almost four and a half. He absolutely loves riding it. It is great quality - very sturdy, stable, and safe. It is also a great bike to travel with - I have been able to easily break it down so it fits easily in my car with all our other luggage. Adjusting the height of the seat and handle bars is easy. He was able to learn to balance on it quickly, and has not started transitioning easily to a *big kid bike* with ease. I am looking forward to my daughter using it in the next couple of months, and I'm sure we will be able to pass it down to their cousins. Great quality!

Very great bike
Such a cool idea and very high quality build and design. It was easy to put together. Good color options. Very sturdy. Was (is) a bit of a leap for our 2 year olds for their birthday. The idea of balancing is taking them a while, but they'll catch on soon, I think.

Strider Bikes are the best!!! Seriously, just buy one, you will not regret it!
I bought this for my son early this year, prior to his 2nd birthday in March of 2015! The Strider Balance Bike is amazing!!! My wife was a little unsure at first, but quickly saw how our son was learning to balance completely on his own. He was timid with the bike at first, walked along side it, and got annoyed when it would fall over. Soon after he was straddling the bike and walking around the house. His progression did not take long after that. We mainly stuck to having him use it in the house at first, though shortly after he started using it outside on the grass. About 4 months ago he started riding it on trails both on and off road. He can now fly around the house, down the driveway, up and down hills, on pretty much any terrain, and he can’t get enough. We honestly have to hide his bike at times because we just can’t take it everywhere. Once he figured out the balancing he started gliding small distances and now he can balance with both feet up for easily 25 feet or more with the right speed. Great construction, awesome design, and several accessories available, one of which we will be adding very soon (the ski attachments). I have recorded several GoPro videos of him out riding and enjoying this bike, so much fun!!! Definitely worth the price! I do have one suggestion for Strider, in case they read this. The adjustable seat and handle bars are very easy to use, we love this; though some type of height/level marking along the rod would make it even better! As we have adjusted over time for our growing and learning kiddo, it can be difficult to go back to a setting you previously had, or when others happen to adjust the seat, being able to easily adjust back to the appropriate height would be much easier with some type of marking system. I have used electrical tape and this works in a pinch. Thanks! By the way, be prepared to engage in conversation with others about this bike when you take your kiddo out riding, this seriously happens constantly! You’ll be sure to see you kid quickly flying by older kiddos with training wheels on a traditional bike! Eventually we will transition to pedals, but this definitely seems to be the right approach. Enjoy!!! Thank you Strider!!! Please bring some events to Austin Texas and the surrounding areas!!!

Toddler bike
Assembly was not difficult. The quality is very good. Loved that it is adjustable while growing and learning to ride bikes.

Great entertainment
Great balance bike- our 2 year old received it for Christmas at age 22 months and immediately took to it. He was gliding with feet up within weeks although hasn’t figured out the footrest part quite yet (now 27 months old). He did start on a 4 wheel “balance” bike at 10 months so used to the idea, this was a relatively easy transition. He tears around on this now and I have to run to keep up. Well made, adjustable, overall sturdy 5 months in despite heavy (and rambunctious) use.

Teaches balance and confidence
This bike is amazing. I got it for my son around 18 months old, and now, at three years old, he can ride a pedal bike with no training wheels. He picked up a normal bike immediately and I think I owe it to this bike. This strider bike really gave him the confidence and balance needed in order to learn so quickly. It's also amazing quality and we will definitely be able to use it for our daughter as well.

Great mid level balance bike
I did a ton of research on balance bikes for my 3.5 year old. He was ready graduate off his tricycle and I wanted something sturdy but not a ridiculous price point. So let me start by saying I often buy mid-level products. I don’t want a piece of cheap junk, but I also don’t want to waste money on high end products. Especially things that little kids use for maybe one or two seasons. The Strider has been an excellent purchase. I looked at the Woom (which if you’re looking for high end bikes then that’s the one to get), and I just couldn’t justify the price point. I looked at cheaper bikes (like less than $50) and I was seriously concerned about quality and sturdiness. Balance bikes cover a very short period of a child’s life. A couple of seasons is all you’re going to get out of them no matter what you buy. Yes. The Strider has “plastic” (or rather foam core wheels) instead of real rubber or air tires and the treads have worn down significantly with very little use. However, my son has no problems with slipping or falling based on the wheel material. No. The Strider does not have any hand brakes. But honestly: does it need them? My 3.5 year old is using his feet just fine. It’s not like we’re mountain biking with a balance bike. We will graduate him up to a bigger bike with brakes when it’s time. The assembly was simple. They offer lots of colors (anyone with a preschooler knows how important THAT is). And the resting spot for his feet on the frame is perfect. It’s easy to adjust height and he can easily pick it up by himself since it’s so light. My only major issue is that I’ve found the connection on the handlebar to be too lose. It has twisted several times for no reason at all and that’s a problem when you’re trying to learn to ride a bike. I also was kind of annoyed that within 48 hours of riding, the “tread” had already worn considerably on the wheels. It IS a bit expensive for that to be happening. But overall, it’s not cheap junk and it’s not overpriced craziness. It’s a nice mid level balance bike for going around our neighborhood, driveway and back patio. He loves it and I’m very pleased.

Confidence Booster!
Bought this for my almost 3 year old about 6 months ago and he’s been obsessed ever since! He absolutely LOVES it. It’s light enough for him to handle, tough enough for trails, and the adjustable seat and handles make it perfect to keep using it as he grows. The assembly was super easy, and only took a few minutes. His balance and confidence have grown so much already and he is now coasting with his feet up down small hills/inclines! We’re hoping to skip the “training wheel phase” and this bike has been absolutely perfect to be able to just that. Highly recommended for toddlers learning to ride!
