Nice piece of kit. Very precise. The rule is quite thin and consequently is very flexible so should be treated with care.

This product is cut from the flimsiest sheet metal possible. It certainly wouldn't last long in a normal hobby workshop and certainly not in commercial premise. Cheap and nasty. The right angle piece is too small for anyone with much more than a small to medium hand/finger size and certainly not functional.

A good precision made item. Has made a world of difference in accurately marking out incremental measurements.

Brilliant. But you need good eyes

The overall quality of this was poor. The blade is stainless although it is not much thicker than a piece of paper. When mine arrived it came in a plastic envelope and nothing firm to avoid damage. As a result the blade was bent straight out of the package. I did test the one I had for being square and it was not. It is simply made so can be adjusted but wound end up being out again. Spend a little more and buy a decent one. Unfit for purpose as a precision tool.

The blade is only half a millimetre thick so takes a lot of practice to keep it flat against the surface to be marked. It is no good for marking right up to the edge of the workpiece. The line has to be finished off using a straightedge.

the fact that you can take the slide off and use it directly on stock as a layout tool is invaluable!
