Works great
Feels a bit cheap and flimsy but works great. Great for small portions, and keeps the grease from splashing. It’s my go to for tempura and karage! 😋

Works well
It’s cute. It is not designed for a family but a great size for one. It is well made. I only wish it had come with a scoop that fit that unit.

Great Little Fryer for 2 to 3 People
Prior to purchasing this fryer, I've used everything from a T-Fal dedicated fryer to a larger propane powered Turkey Fryer (outside only!) to a large stock pot on the stove. This little fryer is perfect for 2 to 3 people (max). I like that the dome shaped lid helps to keep oil in (although not perfect - you will still get droplets on the stove) and the thermometer is great to monitor temps in real time. The lid also does well as a temporary drain rack - I say temporary because one time, I left some fried oysters on the lid as I fried up the second batch and the heat caused the first batch to stick to the lid and grate. I should have moved the cooked oysters to the plate while frying up the second batch. The only other critique I have is that condensation built up in the thermometer. It goes away when the pot is heated up again (with oil in it), but I'm concerned about the longevity of the thermometer. Time will tell!

Great design, would love it even larger...
Just used this for the first time after purchasing a few months ago. Love how the thermometer hangs in just the right place for easy temp readings/adjustments without having to fiddle with it. The curved sides keep spattering to a minimum, and the drip rack works great for taking things out and letting them lose the drippy residual oil before moving them to a paper. My only complaint/wish is that the "large" size was even larger. I could fry maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken chunks at a time; not nearly large enough for a batch of french fries, etc.Only advice is to get some long tongs/chopsticks to take food in and out, as the opening is too small for a medium-large strainer.

Wanted a fryer...
I thought the metal would be thicker. It's not, and it's hard to control the temperature. I have to use the stove, and it's not very big. It's pretty and all, but I'm not all that happy. I have it in the cupboard IN CASE....but I bought an electric one anyway....

Horrible, Tiny, Messy, Awkward, Don't Buy
Waste of Money, the opening is too tiny, and it's impossible to navigate the food items and tongs. The temperature device takes up too much room in the pot and gets in the way of frying. There is nothing positive I can say about this item. I used it twice and promptly returned it. I can't believe all the positive reviews, it's obviously from people who never used it to cook with.

Very satisfied
Used it for the first time today. Worked exactly as advertised and was very easy to clean.
