Avallon AWC241SZLH 54 Bottle 24" Built-In Wine Cooler - Left Hinge

So, this cooler was great... while it worked. Which admittedly, was for a couple of years. It looks terrific, operates quietly, chilled 50+ bottles.And then it just stopped.Fans and gauges work, unit powers on, just doesn't get cold.I paid a tech to look — he tells me there's a freon leak, compressor is shot, call the company for options. I've emailed Avallon almost half-a-dozen times, sent photos, cited the warranty. No dice. In their only emailed response, they offered a replacement unit at a discount. That's not ideal, but I'd take it. Though they don't respond to requests to name that price or process that order.Understand these are difficult times, but nobody answers the customer service line, period. Emails sit for weeks without response. Customer service may be the one thing we CAN do during covid, and these guys are just terrible at it.The cooler cost more than a thousand bucks. For that kind of money, a genuinely frustrating experience and a reasonably awful product.

The wine cooler works well but was a bit taller than indicated. I had to machine the feet to get it to fit. Awesome capacity compared to the one I replaced.

Beautiful refrigerator. Works great. Not noisy at all. Fits 54 bottles perfectly. Did a lot of research and glad I picked this one.

We had returned a previous purchase and replaced it with this one. Great choice. Love the pull out drawers. Nice and quiet.

Great frig. Quiet and pleasant to look at.
