Front strap gap a little too wide causing spontaneous unbuckling.
I have had and used the smaller width perry suspenders for years. I have lost weight and needed to down size. This pair has two inch straps to the front which is fine for my needs. I wear them when working outside on the yard and mowing grass etc.I like the fact that they hook easily to the belt and just as easily can be un-hooked when the job is done. However: The gap on the buckles of the front straps is too large and this allows the strap to unbuckle on its own. I have taken to twisting them around backwards so the clip in on the inside of the belt to prevent this but it is not an ideal solution.I plan on taking a heat gun and if it is a thermoplastic I should be able to soften and close the gap down some. My previous perry suspenders didn't have this problem and the gap on the front straps was tighter.UPDATE: Using a heat gun set to 750 degrees I laid the buckles on a work table with the clip side up. Pressing down on the clip with a metal rod laid parallel to the buckle I carefully heated the top of the buckle. Within a few seconds the plastic clip yielded and I was able to press the clip down flush with the arms. I removed the heat while maintaining pressure with the metal rod and allowed the clip to cool for 20 seconds or so. The clip had some spring back but the gap was much smaller. That seems to make the fit on my belt snugger and more secure.. If the gap is still too much then the next time I will use the metal rod vertical to the clip and push the clip all the way to the table top not just flush with the arms and see if that works better.Edit 2: Have been using these suspenders for various jobs and they are working great. The buckles stay clipped to the belt. The two inch wide straps are very comfortable across the shoulders. Would give these a 5 star rating if they didn't require the modification.

Great for a man that can't keep his pants on
Great for a man that can't keep his pants on! When you realize that you no longer have that 30 year old body and you belly is bigger than your butt. If you find that your belt may be having a difficult time hanging on. This could be the answer. Unless you spill your coffee, nothing in the morning ruins your day like walking across a dew ladened lawn to find your pant cuffs wet with moisture. Having to pull your pants up every 5 minutes is not the answer. Obviously, you need help. Perry Suspenders are here to help! They will help to keep your pants up! No more dragging cuffs. Comfortable on the shoulders and you may forget you're wearing them. Easy on, easy off with strong plastic clips that won't mar your belt. Different colors. I bought them in a tan, which will conceal better under a shirt than a darker color. TIP: Wearing suspenders concealed under your shirt makes you look 30 years younger than wearing them over your shirt :)Perfect for concealed carry.

Quality has declined!
I've used the Perry two-point suspenders for a couple years, and love them. The plastic spring clips that hook under your belt are brilliant. So when I spotted this three-point model here on Amazon, I had to try them.Right off the bat, I see that the back leather patch is light brown, rather than black. I prefer black with black straps, but I can live with this. Then I feel the front clips, and they've different. They look the same, but have sharp edges, and don't fit right. The gentle spring pressure that kept them in place on your belt is gone. They're loose, and tend to fall off when you bend over, unless you keep a lot of tension on the straps. They fall off when you take your pants off. The back clip is a different design, with NO spring retention at all. It just hooks under your belt, and falls off constantly if you're at all active. I love my old two-point Perrys, but this new set was just a big disappointment. They've got to get the clips right again, so that they hook onto your belt, and stay put until you move them. As these are, I can't use or recommend them.

Nice suspenders if you like to wear a belt too
Very nice made in USA suspenders. I prefer to wear a belt with my suspenders, why you ask? because of the old saying:'You can lie to a man with a belt, you can lie to a man with suspenders, but NEVER lie to a man wearing both a belt and suspenders'In all seriousness, these are very nice suspenders. I will note the loss of one star is because if you wear these with a thinner belt, be prepared for the clips to slip off every time you have to drop your pants for natures call. Obviously they will not slip off in general use, it's only when the straps come of your shoulders and things dangle that you need to worry about.I wish they had used a plastic that had more 'spring' to it for the hooks, but what they have does work and its very strong. I'll be ordering more of these when mine wear out.I use these mainly because I typically have a firearm of sorts in my pocket and these really help to keep the pants up when doing so. Especially if you have no butt and a bit of a belly pushing your pants down, like I do!The wife says she loves the looks but I catch her rolling her eyes when she says that, so I'm a bit dubious of her claims. Although at my age I could care less about looks.
