The mail itself is fine. I removed the little chest plate logo thingy because it catches on stuff.The straps are really awful. Poor adjustability and they shoulder straps dig into my neck. If they made them out of something isn't just cheap plastic strips, it would be better. I am replacing mine with 1.25" nylon webbing.

It covered the area needing protection. When poked with a knife there was no penetration.
