The work well
Used on electric fence. They must be installed when running new fence wires. Installed they work very well and keep the wires/line tight. Easy to install and use.

Great product
I wonder if they will last (plastic), but used them to tighten galvanized wire berry trellises. They are easy to use and convenient to tighten as the wires sag. So far I'm very happy with them.

holds a cord tight without slackening
I got these things because I was trying to keep a lumbar support thing tied securely to my chair; the tent cord I was using was not tying securely enough, so the knots would inevitably loosen within an hour or two. With the tightener, I can thread both ends of my tent cord through the axle, and crank it tight. I have detected zero slackening over a period of weeks now.

Works well with poly wire
Worked well for the poly wire fence I put up around my garden. I am glad I used these as the wire seems to slightly stretch over time. Just remember to put them on while putting up the fence, hard to add after.

Love but received damaged one.
We are very impressed with these! They work great. Gave 3 stars because one arrived damaged and could not be used.

My go-to
If I need to string up lines of poly rope or poly wire and get some good tension on it, these work very well in stead of using a metal ratchet strainer. Quick and easy way to get tension on either permanent poly rope fence or temporary sub-divides using poly wire. Well worth the price!
