Do I need to subscribe any montly payment to use it?

You will need to pay for a subscription in order to have it function like the arlo cameras, otherwise it’s live video only. We are disappointed the wired doorbell does not connect to the arlo hub and operate Ike our other arlo cameras. Also, without the subscription you do not have full functionality in the settings menu - you only have basic controls and options. - would not recommend or buy again.
