Very attractive to the bees

Bought these for raising Mason Bees, and they took right to them. Had to cut them to the correct length of course, and I even went the extra mile to use clay and plug one end of these straws for them - saved them the time to do that, and I was handsomely rewarded with a bumper crop of Mason Bee cocoons this year, So many full tubes this year, I am offering them to friends, and I also plan to be almost a modern day Johnny Appleseed, but instead go around and leave a few of these full tubes in safe dry spots around the county for them to hatch next spring and continue the cycle on the wild side. Our honey bees are having a tough time, and these super pollinators can do wonders to help them, and us out. Thank you!

I ordered these last year and they fit perfectly in the thicker cardboard tubes as they are meant to. These are supposed to fit my standard sized tubes as liners. They are too big and I destroyed a bunch of them trying to get them to fit. so I doubt I apply for a refund. Just know that these cannot be used as liners for the outer tubes. These aren’t cheap so I’d consider this upon purchase.

Wish they were about half inch shorter to fit in the cardboard tubes. They can be cut, but it takes a while to trim all of them.

The size was different than all of other orders of the same number 😩

Seems that my mason bees use these tubes as opposed to others I've bought..but I can't say there is anything scientific about this claim!! Would buy again.

Good replacement liners for cardboard tubes by same company. If you are just starting out in helping wild bees, these may work ok by themselves, but are better inside the thicker cardboard tubes because parasitic insects drill through them to prey on the bee larvae. I had very few cases of that using them as liners.

I bought these to refill the cardboard tubes that came with my mason bee house, but they are difficult to insert. Most are just a bit too large to fit. It's a bit frustrating, and many will have to be tossed.
