Impressive results thus far
My dog eats fresh food which in turn has some drawbacks which includes plaque on his teeth. This toothpaste when used regularly dissolves the plaque and gives my pup fresh breath. As far as the smell goes for me it’s not so appealing but he seems to enjoy his teeth being brushed with this flavor. Ease of use- very easy to use like any other paste it is thick and you can use small portions easily. It is on the higher end but has performed extremely well thus far.

Not our flavor EXCELLENT SERVICE
I always consider Arm and Hammer a trusted product name and still do. However, this toothpaste has a big mint leaf on it and says mint flavored (which my dogs love - and the only flavor they care for) - I did not notice the small print "chicken flavor" (or was it beef?) note. The shipping time was excellent. The packaging was excellent. The return process was incredibly friendly and quick. Other than the flavor I wouldn't hesitate to buy an Arm and Hammer product.(Love their Pet Fresh which I use for quick carpet shampoo too. Which by the way, works great in the yard if the aroma gets a little strong in the high heat & humidity of the south.) (Arm & Hammer - if you're listening - I'd love it if you made a minty fresh flavor tooth paste for my dogs - you'd have dedicated customers. Dogs smell our breath- and most of us don't use liver, chicken or beef flavor toothpaste :))

It works, and Evie likes it.
Evie loves this toothpaste Because half of it goes on her tongue, the other half I get on the teeth of fun fast. Seems to clean pretty good.

Dog loves it, but it smells
I purchased the beef flavor toothpaste. It works great, my dog really likes the taste, but wish I would have purchase the vanilla flavor, because my dog smells like beef the rest of the night after I brush her teeth. It doesn't smell bad, would just like a clean smell since I brushed her teeth. Good product though

WORKS FOR MY DOG BUT PRICE IS REDICULOUSLY INFLATED FROM MY FIRST PURCHASE....
Unfortunately, there is not a photo posted to show this item. I was able to buy it from Amazon for $4.00 with free shipping. I first purchased this at a Pet supply store and decided to give it a try. I have tried other types and brands of dog tooth paste, enzyme types, gels, etc. My little dog gets bad breath and easy build up plaque and yellowing tarter over night. Apparently, pomeranians are known to have genetically weak teeth, gums, and immune systems as well as sensitive stomachs which gets worse as they age. I went through my first tube and I have to say, this stuff really works! I use a tiny bit on his toothbrush and brush his teeth, including the back teeth as best as I can for his little mouth. I use it on his incisors and canine teeth in the front which are more sensitive. I also spray the tooth brush with doggy mouthwash first, then apply the tooth brush with paste and give a few gentle brushes across and up and down his teeth. He is so sensitive but tolerates it. He likes to lick it as well and so I apply a tiny amount to the toothbrush and face the toothbrush upsidedown so his tongue will get cleaned as he licks it all off. UPDATE: September 2016: I dropped my vote down to 3 stars. While this little tube of dog toothpaste works if you diligently keep at it, I am not happy with the more than double price increase. I paid $4 for mine on Amazon as mentioned above (I purchased three tubes at once) but when I went to buy more, it had increased to a ridiculous high price of $9 a tube on Amazon! Really? This tiny tube for $9? It makes it NOT worth it to buy. I will make my own with baking soda, and a little oil and water and maybe some potato or rice starch. It was great when it did not cost so much. The label says to brush a couple of times a week but I brush his nearly every day. If I skip a day or two, he seems okay but not three days - or his teeth get yellowy with plaque buildup. I use a very little bit on the tooth brush, just enough to spread very thinly over the brush surface and not enough for him to lick a chunk of it off. Dogs with sour stomachs or older dogs get yellow teeth easily from the acidity in their gut. This product seems to also settle his stomach (it has some baking soda in it), and it helps his breath a lot too. I noticed when he yawns or rolls on his back and opens his mouth, I can see all his teeth - even the back ones which are nearly impossible to brush - and they also look white! When he sees me with this toothpaste and tooth brush, he comes right over to get his teeth brushed now! I would recommend you give it a try. I bought three tubes of these at once because I know it works. Also, Amazon sells it cheaper than any pet supply store I have shopped at.
