This is my 2nd purchase of these great lights from this seller. My first purchase went flawlessly, meaning after hanging the lights and charging they worked just fine and are still working.However, after I received my 2nd order unfortunately, I got sick and could not put the lights up until after the 30 day returning mark.After putting up both strands, and several day's of trying to get the lights to work, I had no luck. So I contacted the seller via message telling them my situation. They sent back something for me to try which I had never heard of before.The off/on button is not like a toggle switch so you'll know when the unit is on rather you simply push the off/on button and hear a click.So the solar panel will not charge unless it is in the "On" position. So they instructed me to allow them to:Charge in the sun for a couple of hoursThen take a towel or something to cover up the solar panel with (simulating dark) to check if the lights are working or notIf they are then you know the off/on switch is in the proper positionIf not, then click the off/on button again, rinse and repeatAfter following their instructions, both of my strands of lights still did not work, so they sent me a replacement within 2 daysGreat customer service, I highly recommend buying from this seller!

They are as bright as one can expect for solar string lights, but I appreciate the deep color intensity of these particular strings. I have been lucky with these red lights as they have lasted three brutal winters. The squirrels seem to stay away from them or I wouldn't still have them. The squirrels destroyed the blue and green light versions of the exact same strings within hours of putting them up, which was infuriating. They look pretty, they ALL look pretty especially on the evergreens, but the main problem is that the cables are VERY thin and easy to break. Once a squirrel leaps into them, those lights are gone. The lights and strings also tangle very easily and are difficult to put up and remove. I won't be replacing them if they don't make it through next winter because I am done with flimsy cables on solar string in general.

I waited a couple weeks to review this to give them a chance. The first day they were great. They stayed lit till past 11 p.m.. Then every day after that they'd stay lit for 30 minutes to an hour. So I finally realized which direction the sun was coming from and moved the solar panel thing. Still only stayed lit for about the same time period but in all fairness it's been cloudy in New York. So I still gave it another chance. I have one set on my porch mixed with led electrical lights so it's not as embarrassing when they don't work. Then I wrapped the other set on a front tree. The front tree, what a disappointment. Today I decided to rearrange the lights on the tree after the panel has been in direct sunlight for a fully 24-48 hours, just rearranged the wiring because I thought it could use improvement on the tree. Well . . . now they won't work AT ALL. This literally just occurred. It just got dark outside and I thought maybe I accidentally turned them off when I rearranged them - no. They just simply stopped working altogether. Very disgusted, not to mention it's embarrassing. But I'm gonna go ahead and buy LED electrical lights for the tree. Don't waste your money.UPDATE: They're so pretty that I had to come back and update. I kept them up like I said, and after I took down my other x-mas lights (the electrical ones after the holiday) I decided to keep my fairy lights up because they're fairy lights and they can stay up year round if you feel like it. They did end up working again. They're harder to stay lit on cloudy days. And I think what caused the problem before was that we had a lot of ice around that time period, but thankfully the problem corrected itself. They're gorgeous when they light up, so even though they don't stay lit long on cloudy days it's worth it - that' show pretty they are when they're lit. Plus you're not wasting energy, win, win. I only took away one star for cloudy days. When they're lit they're five stars.

These light are perfect.I hung them on the ceiling in a sunroof. They have different settings ,and the sun does all the work .

They are so bright. I do have to replace them every year due tÿlo the sun on the solar panels.I just love how you can change the way the light blink or dance. I will keep use it them.

I loved these lights initially. They had many different lighting features from steady glow to blinking and white lights to colored lights. I especially liked how they are solar powered. I hung them on my swing and the kids loved it. I also placed them under a covered patio and loved them....until they stopped working after a month.I had 2 strands, one strand just stopped working after less than a month. I checked all the wires and connections and could not see any reason why it would stop working. I contacted the seller and to their credit, they did send a replacement. I rehung these new lights, but then the older original light set stopped working. These new lights also lasted just less than a month. Very disappointing. I really would like these lights to work, but rehanging them up every month is a drag. I cannot recommend.

These lights were very pretty, but the lights themselves are very very small. I live in northern Illinois, so when they had full sun all day, they stayed lit for quite a long time, but when it was cloudy, they would only stay lit for about an hour. They did what I wanted them to do, they were lights on a tree that I had no access for electricity, but after about one month, one of the strands stopped working completely. The different flashing options are great though. I would say that if you want them for something in a small area, or if you are in a place where you have more sun throughout the day, these would be fantastic, but I don’t recommend them for people in the north. I don’t regret buying these at all, the price was fantastic, I can almost justify having to buy new ones every year.

Stays lit all night, looks fantastic, very bright, easy set up. Very satisfied

Put these in the rocks under my deck. Love the look at night. They twinkle beautifully.

Lo use para l decoración de día de muertos, no las he quitado, así que me sirvieron de navidad también. Las recomiendo ampliamente.

Llego mas de lo esperado, excelente compra. Creo que van a durar para otros eventos. Resistentes.
