Works well
Great tool for the money. Was recommended for me after taking a photography class.

Fast and Easy
Reader works great. I don't do benchmarks, but it's quick enough transferring for me. It does get warm, so watch that. Also, I think you need to put the card in the reader and then connect reader to computer. You can't leave it attached to the computer and just insert/eject the card.

Robust and works well
TLDR;+Premium construction+Lot of usability+USB C + USB C to A adapter included+stable & speeds are as expected-can run hot-sharp edgedThe speed and usuage is great like any other card reader but at half the price versus Sonys with more functionality. The braided cable is a nice touch and the metal body is very premium feeling compare to plastic readers. The only downside to the metal is it get really hot when reading CF express type by card, warm for XQD and remains cool for SD. The corners are also a but sharp if putting it in a pocket so recommend to keep it way from plastic or glass as this reader will definitely scuff it.Read speed match with expected values.

CORRECTION!
ADDENDUM: After looking closer to the problem I found the hole on the front of the PC to be too small for the base of the C-Plug. I took the cover off, filed the opening to a size that would allow the C-Plug to go all the way into the receptacle. Now the unit works on both my PC and laptop. And I've made sure the connection was good by reading the SD, QXD, and CF Express B cards. Also wrote to and formatted a couple. No problems encountered. I've updated my rating to 5 stars.OLD: The C plug will plug into my laptop without a problem. But it will NOT work on my PC. It's about a MM to shallow to go all the way into the C receptacle on my HP computer. The only reason I'm not returning it is because it does plug into my laptop without a problem. I'll either have to get a USB to C card for the PC or some type of USB to C adapter.

Overheats and then errors out
I purchased because the card reader because it is able to read XQD and CF-Express cards (as it says in the product description). And while it works and I’m able to transfer files. It sometimes disconnects while transferring files and while remaining idle. I have to manually remove the device, disconnect it from the computer and then reconnect.I’m running Windows 10 on an AMD cpu (not sure if this relevant).I do like the short cable and ease of use. Just wish I could figure out why it disconnects randomly. I’m not able to replicate cause of issue. My 3rd party CF-Express and Sony XQD readers don’t do that.

Three different types of cards works good. And nice brushed metallic finish
This is what I was looking for. XQD and CFexpress are both working.

Works great with my iPad Pro 2020. Plug and play, easy!
The media could not be loaded. It’s SO easy, plug and play- for real. I needed a card reader that would work on my iPad Pro 2020, with a USB C slot. (IOS 14.6). This is sometimes not so easy. If you have and iPad, you know. You just need to make sure you have the “FILES” app on your iPad first. If not, it is in the App Store. It should come with your iPad, free. I just opened “FILES”, plugged in the Velogk card reader into the USB-C slot, inserted my Micro SD card (from my TRAIL CAMERA), and there it was. Fast and easy. The video shows how easy, right out of the box. This will save me loads of time instead of messing around with the TRAIL CAM viewing application, so I can see my pictures and videos fast. The card reader comes sealed, with a nice pouch for storage. It is around the right size to handle. Not too big or too small, very light weight, with a nice brushed silver finish. The cable and connections are well made, and look like they will last.Note: There is no micro-mini dedicated card slot, but I already had an adaptor, so this worked for me.Great find!

Good customer service.
Updated review..The company reached out to me with an offer to try another card reader which was very good customer service in my book. I received the reader and gave it a shot moving 240 gb of pictures . This reader reached a sustained transfer of about 93 mbs .. much much better than the first one. I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars because of the customer service and better functioning of the replacement. The reader is still hot but that may just be because its a metal case.Original reviewWorks ok but really heats up...I mean so hot you can't hold it. I transfered 38gb data and it worked but really heats up. Im a bit concerned on how that will affect my CF express b. Cards longevity and my images.Theres also a serious problem with the data transfer. I used this reader with my laptops Usb -c to transfer data to my western Digital portable drive on a Usb 3.0 port. Data was slow... 20mbs-26mbs. Same data using other card readers like the Prograde digital CF Express B reader gives me 108 mbs. (same ports and exact same files) Thats really a huge difference and as a result I would suggest people stay clear.
