Perfect for short-term storage of smaller loaves of sweet breads ...
I needed bread bags, not for regular or artisan loaves of bread, but rather my sweet breads. I’ve been making a lot of pumpkin and banana breads and like to have bread bags on hand. I can store a bread right on the counter on a small platter without having to worry about wrapping and unwrapping the loaf. I find that it’s easy to put my breads on end and pull back the bread wrapper, cut off a slice, and slip the rest back in the bag. Now, the size of these bags will fit anything that goes in a 5” x 9” loaf pan. It’s not a large bag, but just perfect for those smaller sweet breads. I can also put rolls or other baked goods in them, but I ordered them specifically for the smaller loafs I bake. I find they are perfect to use when I “gift” a bread. I can put a bread in one of these bags practically out of the oven and run it over to a friend’s house. The bags are sturdy, but not quite as heavy-duty as the standard loaf bags one gets in a store. They are quite lightweight, but perfect for my use. It all depends on what one wants to use them for. For my use they are perfect, but as I mentioned, if you’re going to make artisan bread or full-sized loaves, take a pass. If you’re using them like I do, you’ll love them. I’m storing them right along with my flour in a plastic bin. Love these little bags and when I run out, I’ll be purchasing them again.NOTE: I purchased these as an Amazon Add-On, but the Verified Purchase badge is not showing up.

These plastic bags work well but check the size before you buy
I use these bags to hold sugar and flour (and assorted other like size food items) in the freezer. I initially bought them to hold my home made bread (using a bread machine) but the size of my loaf of homemade bread (2Lb) does not fit in these bags. It also turns out that I slice and freezer my bread in two slice packages so I no longer needed a loaf size bag. So I looked for other ways to use the bags (see above uses). The bags are made of relatively light plastic so I wouldn't use them for long term freezer storage but for a week or two, they do the job. Overall I am happy with them, the bags come with a package of twist ties.

Bread Loaf bags are fine, easy to work with.
The bread bags arrived on the described time table, and I have found them to be very satisfactory. The mil rating is very thin but will be workable. I am happy with the product. I do wish they were a little "thicker" as sometimes the crusty edges of a home made loaf of bread can scratch through. But their length is fine for a standard loaf, and I have found the bags to be very usable for other things. My dog food comes in tubes and sometimes "weeps" moisture so I slip a 6# tube into one of these bags and it fits just fine. It is also good for containing my miscellaneous socks that I am not using at the time in the sock drawer.

Great product
I buy and bake frozen bread dough, which are small loafs. Got tired of wrapping them with plastic wrap and decided to find plastic bread bags. First place I always look is Amazon and, sure enough, Amazon carries a variety of bread bags. This product seemed to meet my needs best. This definitely is not for larger loafs but is perfect for the size of bread loafs I bake. The package came with a "homey" little note and a recipe for bread of this size which I might try.

Nice bags.
I bake our sandwich bread for the week every week, as well as make homemade Italian and French breads for dinner. These bags are nice and fit a good sized loaf in them. A full sized Italian bread won't fit, but usually I'm just storing leftovers in it so it's fine. They're not quite as thick as store-bought bread bags, but they really don't need to be. The bread stays fresh for the week and our sandwiches are delicious :)

Just Fine
I've seen other reviews that these are too small. They are smaller than some others, but just what I was looking for. I cut my loaves in half, and these bags will work just fine for my bread. Bags are bags, in all different sizes. One needs to know what size they want before ordering them, as with any other item they buy. These will work for me, and they came with the ties, making this a good buy for me. No complaints at all. Expect to do more business with them in the future. If this helps. I just made a 2LB loaf in my bread machine. A Hamilton Beach Model #29881. My 2 LB loaf does not fit these bags, but it's close. For the whole 2LB loaf, I use bags that measure 12"X18" that I got off of Ebay. Those bags fit the entire loaf, with room to close the bag and tie it off. I only mention this because of so many reviews about these bags here not fitting their loafs. These bags will work if you cut the loaf in half. Hope this info helps someone. I'm not trying to steer people away, just trying to help. Hamilton Beach HomeBaker 29881 2 lb. Bread Machine

Recommended or oven baked tiny loaves
Recommended or oven baked tiny loaves. Not for bread machine loaves of 1.5 to 2.0 size loaves. Quality of bag is fine. Ties are helpful also. Horrible bags for my family needs. Like most people we own a 2 pound bread machine that's capable of making 1.5 pound loaves and 2.0 pound loaves. The dimensions I require in a bread bag are the following: 5 inches in width, 5 inches in length, 9 inches deep. So if I need those dimensions this would mean I would like 1 inch extra for breathing room so the bread doesn't get mashed up. Something like: 6Wx6Lx13 or 14D would be a good size for a bread machine 2.0 loaves. They are much more wider than those tiny loaf pans people bake in their ovens. I am okay with the Depth / length of bag, but it's not even wide enough for what we need. And grocery store bread is tiny. Wish we had bread machine jumbo sized bags for sale for large baking loaves bread machine users.
