Easy install very sturdy, love it

Searching for the perfect shower and bathroom grab bars... found these Vive Textured ones on amazon. Had them installed for our elderly parents and they are the perfect fit. Sturdy and substantial for safety in the shower and near the toilet. Can not recommend them enough! What a life safer! Oh... and so easy to install too.

These work well and have good texture for grip. Make sure you put them in the studs.

Recommendations are important for my choices. This had good ones, but I remember a key suggestion from someone somewhere among all the items I checked — Don’t use screws provided; get better stronger ones from hardware so heads wont strip under pressure from driving in. Better yet, I’d say never use wall anchors, and secure at least two of your beefier screws to a stud. I used 15/64 for vertical mount outside shower glass door rail, which did not have clearance for 3d screw.The little instruction booklet included is clearly written an illustrated. I take issue with their calking suggestions and recommend using clear silicon calk, which is a bother to work with, but gives lasting quality. I would say to run a narrow bead around the edges of the flanges, so that when you press and lock the flange covers the seal occurs there. Then, although it may be a challenge, completely fill the uneven openings where the inner part of the flange cover meets or more likely doesn’t meet the bar. If you leave this open, it’s obvious that water will collect inside the fixture.

I’m very happy to receive these bars. They’re very helpful in my days and getting to my shower.😃

The item looks very high end installed them in my father in law’s bathroom he needed them because he is getting older but he did not want his house to look like a hospital this bar system looked great and even he was happy in the end because it look great in the space
