I was hesitant to splurge on this machine but it is worth every cent: the flavor and texture of the ice cream is phenomenal. And it makes yogurt too. The only downside, a minor one, is that it is difficult to get the ice cream off the churning paddle.I don’t find it too noisy, but you do know when it’s running. The instructions could be a little clearer, especially for the churning time. I find that it takes about 50 minutes to make a batch of ice cream.
