Professor Astro Cat's Atomic Adventure

Contains so much information for young readers to start familiarizing themselves with chemistry. Really fills a gap that's been missing in educational books for this age group.

This book is so cool! My son and I discovered Dr. Dominic Walliman in a Ted Talk, thought the Professor Astro Cat books looked interesting, and bought this on a whim. What an incredible book series to stumble upon! I love everything about this book (and the others are equally as great).The book is jam packed with interesting facts and does an excellent job introducing young readers to physics. Many educational kids’ books either water the information down too far to be useful or are too dry to hold their interest; Professor Astro Cat excels at assuming competence in its readers while still presenting the details in a fun, easily digestible format. The book contains concepts I learned in high school yet they’re written in a way my 7 year old can grasp.To top it off, the illustrations are amazingly well done, vibrant, and joyful. It’s a gorgeous book and the cover material and pages are tactilely pleasing. It’s clear that a lot of thought was put into the design process and artwork.I really can’t say enough good things about Professor Astro Cat! It is all around a joy to read this book.

This book is so so worth it! Its very interesting and introduces so many concepts about physics to a kid that are easy to digest and fun! My daughter loves it.

I purchased this book for my niece's birthday, but I'm tempted to keep this book. The book itself is much larger than I was anticipating, which I like because the big pages make all of the information not seem so crammed or overwhelming. I also appreciate that there is a glossary for terms kids wouldn't already know or understand. I'll be buying the res of the Professor Astro Cat books!

I absolutely love this series of books and so does my 6 year old! The content is easily understandable for kids and the illustrations are clever and humorous. It's absolutely brilliant for kids interested in science. I found this book originally at our local library, but had to purchase a copy for home and I've made this book and the Human Body Odyssey my go to birthday present for science-loving kiddos.

The book itself is great. The illustrations are engaging and helpful. The text is clear. I would buy it again and plan to buy the other Professor Astro Cat books. :DBut...Within days of beginning to read this with my son, the last section fell out. We're not hard on books. Outside of a little corner wear, you'd think the book was new. Anyway, I expect a book to last longer than a few of days reading before starting to fall apart. :-(

My 10 year old enjoys reading this since it has a cartoon cat explaining everything in a kind of comic book format.

Love this series of books! As a teacher I use them with students and with all the kids in our family!!

My son borrowed this book from his school library. He loved it so much that I had to buy him his own copy so he would give back the other one. Now I get physics quotes with book proof all the time. I love it!

This author has passion about his subject - watch him on you-tube or TED talks. One of the passionate scientists around who cares about learning like Brian Cox. Someone whom puts their passion into their subject and helps others understand the beauty of science. When science digs deeper into the spiritual mind as well this author will be brilliant and not just very good!

Mykids loved it . Easy explanation of concepts with help of pictures . Loved the hard cover also.

Excellent, with lots of facts that will leave you flabbergasted. I would definetely recommend it to any inquisitive young mind.
