First time using figure 8 straps, but got to say I'm impressed!
I've never used figure 8 straps before; I typically use standard lifting straps, but they are a bit of a pain to set up if you're doing multiple sets. These figure 8 straps are super simple and I'm quickly leaning towards picking them up over my standard lifting straps. I'd advise watching a Youtube Video to get the technique down, but, essentially, what you do is:A) Place your hand through one of the strap's two holesB) Take the other end of the strap and thread it under the bar before putting your hand through itC) Most important: take the strap slightly further out then your deadlift grip width and then lift your wrist up so you have tension.D) Now, move your hand back in to your normal deadlift grip (the strap should stay where it was). You should now have a nice locked in feel. The one thing worth noting is that they are definitely better suited for a double overhand grip. A lot of dead lifters prefer a mixed grip, but I found these really reward you for the double overhand. Even if you are a mixed grip deadlifter typically, I don't think the double overhand grip will bother you much here as the whole point of the straps is that they take away the reliance on grip. This was certainly my experience - I found I could forget about the grip aspect of the lift and focus on moving with control. The straps themselves seem very good quality. They are thick and feel capable of holding the heavy loads a deadlift will require. I've done many deadlifts around the 160-180 range for multiple repetitions and they look as good as new. I also appreciated that they never felt they put too much pressure on my wrists and the material although quite rough wasn't uncomfortable in anyway.I really like the black and red design with the 'Beast' logo. Eddie 'The Beast' Hall was the first man to hit a 500KG deadlift and if he is putting his name to them you know the quality is there.Overall, these are great! I am really enjoying using them for my lifts and would highly recommend giving them a go if you're a deadlifter.

Great quality but sizing is big
The material is thick and burly, not slim like nylon/leather straps. Some love it, some don't as bar contact is slightly less than with nylon. Personally I like the feel. Takes some breaking in to soften them. Note that sizing is big, so small is slightly too big for my hands (size 9).
