Incredible! Extremely detailed sound through these IEMs everything I have thrown at them has been a delight. "Letter" by Yosi Horikawa revealed texture and nuance I have not heard before, ever. These are probably not well suited for people that want a big bass. These are tuned neutral for accurate sound reproduction. So the low tones are present in "Limit to your love" by James Blake, but they do not punch like other listening devices. These are light and comfortable for hours of listening pleasure. They fit fairly deep in your ear canal, so if it is important to easily take on and off, you may want to consider a different configuration. Connectivity is dead simple with a 3.5mm plug. No batteries or chargers to deal with is a plus. Zero lag makes gaming or conference calls easy. I used a $20 3.5mm to USB-C inline DAC to connect to my Pixel 8 with great results. The cable is a loose weave of individually wrapped connectors that is tangle resistant and extremely pliable. I can see how it could be easily snagged on something, but it has not happened yet. These did not come with a case, but many options are available. These are quite simple with noise isolation, think ear plugs, that prevents ambient noise from intruding on your session. There is no pass through mode or active noise cancelling. There is a single button on the RH cable that allows music to play/pause and answer/decline calls.

I bought these to replace a set that I have been using for a few years. I am a drummer in a band, and these monitors have been great so far. The cable seems very durable and the overall quality of the earbuds is exceptional. These earbuds have an amazing balance of high, mid and low. As the drummer, I like to have the whole band in my monitor mix. I HAVE to be able to hear my kick drum and snare most of all. I get the deep boom of the kick, mixed with everything else, with amazing clarity. Looking forward to many uses out of these!

Not a sponsored review. Literally just think these things sound great. You can hear so _much_ more. First the general response curve is perfect for casual listening. I haven't tried these as on-stage IEMs yet, but I think I'm hearing a bit of a mid-dip, which may be problematic for live performers and I'm a bit concerned about compression of the dynamic range... but for casual listening these are pretty incredible. Comparing these against my Alclair Audio Dual-XBs, which I've had custom molded for my ears. I'd say these lack the absolute rock-solid distortion free bottom end my DXBs have. However, they make up for it with an unbelievably detailed top end that my 2 driver DXBs can't match. Surprised at this! I will say these matter what you have them hooked up to. I have a headphone port on my thunderbolt dock, and it's pretty trashy and introduces a lot of distortion and loses a lot of clarity. The headphone jack on my macbook sounds significantly better.

Alright. I bought the kz zas10 pro as backup in ear monitors but I do also use them for music. I was blown away with how good the kz zas10 pro was, so I got curious. Ended up ordering these and the kz zas10 pro 2 to compare. These are definitely good sounding in ear monitors. Its much smoother sounding and more defined compared to the kz zas10 pro, but I still think the pro are very good. These are just a step up from the pro. I didnt like the pro 2 as much. They werent as loud as the other two and with the different treble frequencies compared to the pro, the pro 2 just doesnt sound as good as the pro. In terms of my preference, Kz zas 7ba+1dd>kz zas10 pro>kz zas10 pro 2

For the price they are excellent. I’m not fully convinced that all 8 drivers are functional. But for less than a single driver name brand in-ear, these are great. At low volume they do make a little hiss noise and start to break up, but at mid to high volumes they sound great and are very clear. The bass is quite punchy which can be a con in some scenarios, like if you are a guitar player with ambient mics around you on a bigger stage or something. Was hoping they will be a little more flat. But overall they are great FOR THE PRICE!

I am a musician and got these specifically to use with an In Ear Monitor system, so what I experienced might not apply to more casual use. Aesthetically they are gorgeous. They look and feel very solid and well built. Once I received them I played music through then for about 10 hours, based on some online recommendations. They sounded really great as just ear buds listening to music. But when I used them at a gig that weekend, I was in the middle of our first song and the right driver just stopped working. Luckily I had a backup pair and wasn't dead in the water. So I do some research to learn that this is a known thing. I called KZ after searching high and low for a number. The person I spoke to immediately asked in one of the drivers stopped working and suggested I try switching the cables. It worked...at least at the moment. I am guessing swapping the cable (meaning moving the right side to the left and vice versa) does some sort of reset? So with them seemingly working again, I tried them at soundcheck of my next show and not 1 minute into the soundcheck and the right driver failed again. And since this sounds like a known problem with the ZAS, I cannot risk it on another pair. Luckily Amazon helped me to return them, as all confidence is lost on them. And what a shame, because when they did work they sounded amazing! I decided to take the plunge instead on custom molded in ears. So I am giving it 1 star as a device musicians expect to work consistently, and simply doesn't.

I bought the truth ear zero blue 2’s before I bought KZ ZAS and the zero blue 2’s have good sound don’t get me wrong but I play a lot of FPS games and the KZ ZAS are you go to for shoots theses IEM’S are great for the price and I love em! Zero blue 2s still have but will be be using them for campaign games.

Update : the right side stopped working last year, so they lasted about 12 months which sucks given I chose them for their durability. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps, and if I stand on one foot and hold the jack with 0.2 PSI at 2.56⁰ there is a substandard noise in the right side, but holding it any firmer, less firm, or at a different angle leads to zero sound in the right side... BOOO!!! I have gone through so many headphones, I use them every day for commuting, gym, doing anything basically... i love the Jabra wireless earbuds but I always lose one earbud, these are my backup - i've tried at least 6 brands and more styles, more well known brands, etc.. they never last very long OR the sound or noise cancelling doesnt work well. These are GREAT! Highly recommend

I bought these more than three years ago and, just now, felt it was time to replace them. They weren't even fully broken, despite three full years of hard use, life in pockets and bags full of sharp nonsense, literally twice they ended up in the washing machine and still they worked and even had great sound. Hard to ask for more out of a little pair of <$50 earbuds. Rest in peace, little beans.
