I can’t really ask my dog what she thinks about flavor and scent but she seems to really enjoy it! This has been the only dog food I have fed my dog that doesn’t give her the runs occasionally like other dog food brands. Her coat looks great and she’s happy, healthy and muscularly lean looking. When summer roles around and I go more strenuous hikes I plan to go up to the 30/20 type so her body can be fully fueled for a full day of hiking. My vet and many other vets my friends and family go to have highly recommended Purina pro plan.

Thanks Amazon.The expiration date was -August 2015 and I received it in May of 2014 - each bag so far has not been close to expiration, which all combined makes it a great purchase.Sometimes wish the individual pieces were larger, my 6.5 month black lab seems to swallow the pieces more than chew (a lab thing). Although with them being small I can use easily splitting breakfast and dinner feedings to half in treat bag for training and half in her bowl for regular feeding! The dog loves it.I fed my German Shepherd Iams her whole life (12 yrs) and always fought gas and diahrea issues. I have had no issues with this food.

Love this food. We have always had our chocolate lab on this food and he's a healthy happy boy. We had our German Pointer on several other food brands specifically for easy digestion for his sensitive stomach and nothing seemed to help. (He has a pretty severe bacteria imbalance where he cannot have anything but his dog food and maybe a raspberry or carrot once a month, if he has anything else he has diarrhea, puking and becomes lethargic) With this food he was actually able to eat, put on weight and not have any problems. So now both our dogs are on Purina and we will never change!

I’ve been with my guide dog for over 3 years and this is the one of the most affordable and nutrient rich dog foods that have been approved by the dog trainers at the school where I trained with my dog. She comes running every time I call her for breakfast and dinner. She sniffs the air and drools every single time. This is great for a working dog and pet dogs who are active.

My dog (texas heeler) has en extremely sensitive stomach and does not consume any people food. I had fed him Rachel Ray dog food since he was a puppy. My friend that is a vet came to visit and mentioned that the dog food that she recommends to her patients is Purina Pro Plan. She sent me a free small bag to test from her office. And, it was amazing. We saw a change in his behavior within 3 days. This is the only food that keeps my dog healthy with a regular "schedule".Get this for your pup to keep him healthy and you happy!

We turned to this food when our lab puppy began having an upset stomach and diarrhea after eating many other brands of food. This food was recommended to us by a professional dog trainer. We were initially skeptical of the price, but when we realized our lab's stomach could handle this and I was no longer cleaning up diarrhea off of his kennel, my floor, and occasionally the walls, I was willing to pay a little more. I've called around to many local stores trying to find it cheaper than Amazon, but this is honestly the best price I can find. Plus, it gets delivered to my door. Can't beat it!
