Depending on the slope (angle) of your windshield yes and no

Q: How well do these lights work on the back deck/window?

If you're planning to use these lights on the back deck of a sedan. mimicking a interior rear bar they will work great. You will just have to be creative with a mounting solution

Q: Do you have any mounting options other than suction cup?

The bracket without the suction cups was able to tuck behind and between my headliner and front windshield and is holding firm.

Q: Where can I get an extension cable for between the lights? The one it came with is to short for me. I need the lights spread out further.

Mine came all one wire so there was no connection between the lights.
