An Alright 3* Jelly Mix
These aren't what you think of when you think of 'Pick 'N Mix' as there's no lollipops, no chocolate at all as in your chocolate covered raisins or nuts, those little chocolate discs with 100's & 1000's on them, chocolate mice, etc. There's no sour sweets like sour snakes, sour balls or those large dummy shaped sour sweets, etcThere're no liquorice sweets like Allsorts or laces, or Blackjack sweets (there's one sweet with a failed attempt at liquorice in there)There're no boiled sweet for example Humbugs, Everton Mints, Rhubarb & Custard & so on.There's no mint flavoured sweets or no toffee centred of just toffee sweets. There's no hard candy covered sweets or hard candy like marble sized gobstoppers, Aniseed balls, those sugar coated long pill like looking sweet with liquorice inside it's not your typical 'Pick 'N Mix' with the classic & the usually left over jelly rings which aren't included here in any way, shape or form. What it is & should be advertised as is a 'Soft Jelly Mix' & there are a good number & variety of jellies in the large bag that's ideal if you have kids or grandkids as they'll love them & you do get a good weighty bag full & they're extremely fresh plus the bag they come in is resealable which is all good but there're flaws again as for me a lot taste the same they just seem to be moulded differently with different food colourings, there's no sour jellies, no hard jellies, the sugar granules from sugar coated jellies end up on virtually all of the sweets & the bag boasts for me only say some 5-6 incredibly nice tasting sweets that you don't get enough of with the random attempt at the square "Dolly Mix" piece? So overall for me is:It's a good sized bag of jellies with a large variety of them & it'll be loved by those who like jellies & by the kids/grandkids.The price tag is far from being ridiculous, the price tag is fair for the amount, weight & the simple but effective fact that the bag is very easily & strongly resealable. They're an alright 'Soft Jelly Mix' but they're a million miles away from being a bag of 'Pick 'N Mix'.EDIT: I believe that the brand name is 'Pick 'N Mix' yet they are sold by a named sweet seller (why & what comes to mind?) as I've seen various other sweets now with the same packaging stating 'Pick 'N Mix' which I find to be incredibly misleading & not very well thought through at all as the sellers have their own separate business name associated with sweets, so you call this product I'm reviewing now a Jelly Mix, you call Bon Bons Bon Bons, Jelly Beans Jelly Beans you do not call your entire line Pick 'N Mix despite the differences of the product inside?!
