Definitely Tastes Like Its Described
I love it! I'm currently a Peete's Coffee subscriber and sometimes based on roasting dates my delivery can be delayed, so I decided to try out Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee based on reviews from YouTube. I really enjoy this coffee, you definitely taste hints of chard caramel, chocolate, nuts, and oak and you smell the whisky more than taste notes of it . . my ONLY issue is although a medium roast, I could never drink this without frothed milk, syrup, and maybe a little Carmel sauce. Its very bold but delicious. Keeping Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee as a strong back-up for delayed coffee deliveries.

If faced with the decision of cash prize or a lifetime supply, I'd pick the coffee
This is still the best bean I've ever brewed. The roast is not too dark, but thankfully not too light, too. The barrel aging process has given the bean an amazing Scotch finish that is smooth and flavorful. I love to order this on occasion as a treat to myself when I want a rich smooth brewed cup of coffee. To me, this coffee doesn't require a lot added to it. Definitely does NOT need sugar, but if you are one who prefers to have a bit of cream in your coffee, heavy whipping cream is great but also Sweet Italian Cream does well to compliment the Scotch finish to give it a candied flavor to it all. This is an amazing bean and something that I'll definitely continue to pick this up when ever the fancy strikes me, or this is ever on sale. I simply can't get enough of it. Keep up the great work!

Great smelling and even better tasting
I love the smell and taste of this coffee although it’s a little more expensive than I usually would spend on coffee. Every so often I treat myself to this though and I really love it.

Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee!
Oh, tell me about the Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee! This is the genuine article. Who knew coffee and whiskey could complement each other so well? To begin with, the scent of this coffee is enough to make your taste receptors perform a joyful dance. It's like getting a warm embrace from your favorite bourbon, but in the shape of coffee. And, believe me, the flavor does not disappoint. The Colombian coffee beans are already excellent, but the fact that they've been matured in Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey barrels elevates them to a whole new level. The flavor is deep and nuanced, with caramel, vanilla, and, of course, that wonderful bourbon flavor. Overall, this Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee is highly recommended. It's a funny and interesting take on your standard cup of Joe, and it certainly adds something special to your day. So go ahead and try it; your taste senses will thank you!

Tastes great brewed hot or made as a cold brew
Good caffeine content packaging is attractive and the whole beans are great keeping the fresh flavor, as far as value for the money how can one complain for the price of coffee that's aged in oak barrels? Honestly I think it's worth every single dollar they priced it for and I was surprised I got a good discount when I ordered it this past time 😄

Elegant Flavor
I am a newbie for grinding my own beans and using the pour over method for making coffee. Having recently given away both a Keurig and Espresso devices, I am very happy to have found these beans The color and aroma when open the package filled my sensory systems of site and smell. Ground to a medium consistent and 202 deg water poured at a ratio of 20g coffee to 10 oz water, the favor is smooth and sweet with a touch of bourbon which lingers on the palate. Pricey, so I won’t indulge daily. But when I want to spoil myself, this will be my go to morning Java!

Smells/tastes like burning plastic
I rarely leave reviews but this was so bad. Maybe we got a bad bag? I gifted this to my husband for Christmas and we were both so excited to try it -and we were both definitely disappointed with it, especially at this price point. It doesn’t have the expected “coffee” aroma, but rather a nice “eau de burning plastic” instead, even when using our Chemex with a coffee sock and a SS gooseneck. It comes out light and tastes incredibly bitter and acidic. We lean more towards coffee snobs, so I thought that maybe it just wasn’t our taste. Then we visited my dad - a veteran who drinks a pot of cheap black coffee a day and never washes his mug - and even he spit it out and said it tastes like plastic with a cheap vodka aftertaste. I was optimistic but for us this is definitely a no-go.
