Great product if you have arthritis in your hands
I purchased this shampoo brush to use on my shoulder length hair. (I do not have dreadlocks) I choose this brush because it was less like a regular comb/hairbrush type like the others I looked at on Amazon. I am beginning to experience arthritis in my hands and noticed when washing my hair that my fingers would ache. This brush is easy to hold between my fingers without gripping a handle and it feels more like my fingers when shampooing my hair. The brush ends flexes as you use it and feels good on my scalp.

Didn't move through my locs to penetrate my scalp like I hoped it would but it was ok
Didn't move through my locs to penetrate my scalp like I hoped it would but it was ok. I do have a more coarse hair grade so maybe it'd work better with someone whose hair is thinner. The comfort grip was nice once I figured out the best way to hold it.

More suited for a babies scalp
The one star as for the description. This item is not a stiff bristled item as the prongs are extremely bendable. I was looking for a strong scalp brush and this was not it.

This feels so good, even outside of the shower
This feels so good, even outside of the shower, as a massager. I have locs but I'm pretty sure this will work for you whether you have locs or not. Bristles are rubber and very gentle on the hair. Won't tangle your hair.

Great for my white Jewish kid with super curly hair. He is finally!!! Scrubbing his scalp, it does not tear or frizz his hair! Wish I had found it years ago. It could have really helped during the "hair war" years
