Holy cow these plantain chips are perfect. Cut in rounds very thin. Tiny hint of sweetness and a little salty. Perfect the best I have ever had

This batch was rancid
I have bought this product many times before, even bought 2 boxes at a super cheap price because the expiration date was on September, and didn't have a problem. But this last box, the bags have "better used by" date of April 2025, and the moment I opened the bag, the smell of rancid oil is overpowering. I opened 3 bags and all 3 are the same! I love the product but I just got a very bad batch.

Plantain chips sweet-land!!
This plantain chips highlights its exceptional freshness and taste, making it stand out as the best I've had in a while. The crisp texture adds to the enjoyment of snacking on them. It's understandable to wish for more in each pack, especially if you find yourself ordering them monthly. Recommending it to others speaks volumes about its quality.

Delicious and very tasty, feeling too! 🎉
I've just ordered these about a few days ago and they arrived fairly quickly so that was awesome! The chips quality was pretty good ☺️ for the most part they tasted fresh and crispy, the flavor was robust and the expiration date was far enough out which was great! The thickness of the chip was right in between where it should be, not too thin and not too thick, it didn't have a lot of greasiness or oiliness that I saw, they were a good size as well they didn't come all broken the pieces or teeny tiny bits which I can appreciate. I will say that the garlic and the salted plantains are my absolute favorite and my mother seems to like the (Madurito) - sweet ones, I already have another order of these in my card so sounds pretty good to me, I just wish they would do more of a variety with a selections that you want instead of forcing you to have certain amounts of what you want in the selection. Thank you! ✨ ❤️

So disappointed!
After a delay in shipping, I received my order of the Iberia Plantainedos variety pack (8) plantain chips on January 24, 2023Super excited because we've only had salted before; really looking forward to trying the sweet variety and the garlic. The sweet style (Madurito) is burnt (see photos) and neither bag has a "Best If Used By" date. There is no weird smell or taste, except for the fact that they're burnt and SUPER crispy. The garlic are not as crispy, leading to a better chewing experience, but I noticed the "Best If Used By" date is November 25, 2023. There's no weird smell or taste (they're actually very good if you like garlic!), so after investigating plantain chip expiration, we are going to finish them. All the salted style are still unopened and those bags all have January 28, 2024 listed as "Best If Used By."We miserably ate one bag of the sweet style and I'm throwing out the other; we're hoping we don't get sick from the garlic, and that the salted are the plantain chips we love when we get to them.I won't be buying this variety package again.

Great Paleo Snack!
These taste great, just be advised they do arrive pretty crumbly... You're not going to get a pretty presentation with these unless you do a whole lot of picking through the bag but that's not what I purchased these for anyway. Mostly I'm looking for a healthier snack option for my paleo family on the go and so far this fits the bill. The other brands that I have researched seem to have palm olein in them, for those not familiar with the difference between Palm olein and palm oil I just want to say that you don't want olein anything because to produce it there is a biochemical process aka "biotechnology" to extract it making it no better than canola oil or many of the other oils that are considered toxic, this brand uses palm oil not olein. Although palm oil is considered a vegetable oil I'd prefer Green Bulk label this product with the palm oil they claim to be using so as to alleviate any confusion. I love the taste (they're more on the savory side for those not familiar with plantains), they make a great paleo snack, they don't have that rancid oil taste that most processed foods have, they are made with Palm oil, they DON'T use biotechnology to make these, I believe they are sourced from Peru (they are against GMO there), they're Gluten free, and they're a great value. I would recommend these if you're looking for a healthier alternative to potato chips or quick snacky foods.
