Looks great and protects against some scratches
For the amount of holes that had to be poked out, it fits really well on the headset besides a bump on the middle from it having been folded in the box. I haven't had difficulties with tracking and I think a thicker skin would cause problems while not adding much more in fall protection. I bought this to prevent scratching (where they can cover) and accentuate my Vive. The blue shade is excellent and looks good in any light. It's a shame you can't see it while you are wearing it.

Looks nice but very thin material
It's ok. As other people have mentioned, the silicon is VERY thin. Unlike with the controllers where it falsely advertises to protect from fall damage, this one is more accurate with saying it will protect from scratches, which is about it will actually protect it from.If you want a skin to change the looks of your headset, then this works well. I bought the blue skin and I really like how it looks. it's a nice shade of blue (in my opinion). The silicon material it is made of though does attract dirt to it, dirt sticks to it like glue and is a pain to clean. I could try using a liquid spray but I don't want to risk getting my headset wet just to clean it and it's a bit of a pain putting the skin on and taking it off. I've just been dealing with the dirt particles that got attracted to it, but I guess when it gets bad enough I'll just remove it and try giving it a good cleaning at that time. The skin is a good fit and yes, it leaves openings for the sensors but it did cover the mic hole on the bottom. I took a needle to it and made a hole myself, but I shouldn't have had to do that.

Great for protecting against scrapes and light bumps.
Over a month ago I've purchased both the Hyperkin Vive silicone headset and controllers skins. Overall, I'm quite pleased with their performance. The fit and finish of both products are nice. Neither blocks the sensors from tracking properly. Also, the controllers feel more ergonomic and grippy with the skin applied. Just keep in mind this is not a thick silicone pad like what you would find on a Nintendo Wii remote. Instead you're getting a very thin, probably about 1/8" thick, skin that protects against scrapes and scratches. For that reason alone, I don't hesitate to recommend these products. As for Hyperkin's Vive screen protector, that's another story...

Great for scratch protection.. few overlooked design problems.
Fits the HTC Vive like a glove and I haven't had any issues with tracking. The color is true to the pictures, looks very nice and protects against scratches, scrapes and bumps wonderfully. Though I do have some issues with the silicone cover, I WOULD buy it again for another headset if I had a second. I am docking two stars though for a few overlooked design reasons. Where the silicone skin sits against the bottom part of the headset where the bottom of your nose would be, it gathers moisture and traps that moisture if you breathe through your nose while playing games, not just during workout games either. I could see this damaging the microphone in the future if a lot of condensation builds up and gets suctioned up into the microphone. I have put a small piece of fabric over the microphone to prevent this.Second star, because I had to modify my silicone skin since it doesn't come with a pre-cut hole for the microphone.. does Hyperkin not know where the microphone is, or that the HTC Vive even has a microphone? I mean, really? If you don't cut out a hole for the microphone, your speech will be a lot quieter and muffled than it needs to be.I'm not docking the rating for this reason, but it was a little annoying: the packaging comes with the cover folded in half, I had to work out some of the folds in the center of it so it would fit a little better but no big deal.

Super thin and loose
Doesn't protect at all. Super thin and loose.

Two Stars
Looks nice, but interferes a bit with tracking.

Great skin for my HTC and hopefully protects it each time I punch myself in the face
Yes, while VR boxing it happens. And you know what, this skin helps protect it and my controllers. Very happy with the fit and look. I would also advise getting the controller skins also.

Highly recommended!! Long live VR.
These fit, feel and look great. I have had these almost a year and they look like new. Doesn't hinder VR performance, protects and provides a better grip. NO tearing or deteriorating as of yet.

Great for personalizing your vive.
Works well! My daughter was psyched to see the blue cover on the Vive. It's a silicon cover, fits on perfectly.Gives it a bit of personality at decent price!

Recomendados!
