Reading Comprehension: Inventive Exercises to Sharpen Skills and Raise Achievement (Basic, Not Boring 6 to 8)

I think it would have been helpful if the level of understanding was rated first. I purchased this for an eleven year old boy and I thought it was too difficult for him. Perhaps a suitable age group could be stated.

Great book. I tutor and I’m using this to reinforce skills. There’s a variety of different genres of stories and different activities. Some of them are more challenging than others which is good. I recommend.

Good book keeps children learning,never a full moment

I homeschool my sons who have autism. This book does not bore us to tears, but still allows them to work on comprehension skills! Awesome!

Good for practice work. Or homework if you still assign that. Easy to assess.

Several pages on this book are too advanced for my 6th grader, and even an older child had a hard time understanding the directions.
