Have a handful of pipes, but this one has set the bar as far as quality goes for me. The pipe smokes great, simple to clean, everything fits tightly, aesthetically, it's beautiful, all around a high quality pipe for a non ridiculous price. I bought another pipe of the same brand, and if it turns out to be similar to this one, I think I know what brand I will be buying from now on. As of right now, i really think you can't go wrong with Savinelli.

Beautiful pipe. Light in the hand and mouth. Really dig the alligator texture. Great pull. First smoke lasted 45 minutes. Five stars!

Great chin roster. Very light weight and could clinch the entire duration of the smoke. The finish is gorgeous on the stem and bowl as well. This 614 has a great shape though I wish the stem was a bit more bent then it is. The pipe I have isn't 100% semitrical but I'm fine with it. I'm not too picky.

My mom bought me this pipe. I love it. It is light enough that it doesn't hurt my jaw when I clench it. It smoked great the first time. I would definitely recommend this pipe.

Pipe is fine and shipping was fine but cover bag. Is a peace ###$$##. You get nice felt bags with cheaper pipes. Did get the filter. I use 6mm charcoal filters like them better.

I've been looking for a good "chin rester" (full bent pipe) for a long time, and Savinelli being my favorite brand, this pipe is just what the doctor ordered! Typical of Savinelli, it's not too heavy, has the balsa wood filtration system (excellent!) and is beautifully finished -- ready for years of enjoyable smoking. I bought my first Savinelli in 1979, and although I tried out various other pipe manufacturers I always gravitated back to this brand. Their hand-picking of the choicest briars, their bowl/depth ratio, and even the charcoal bowl break-in is perfect. I couldn't be happier with this pipe.
