Great product to protect yourself from a data breach while using a public charging station. Being an IT professional this is a must-have item for your protection.

MY ERROR. I APOLOGIZE !!!I reviewed these as failures (though solidly built) because I was certain that they allowed data to pass through. I was dead wrong.I had forgotten I had recently set my laptop to backup my iPhone automatically using WiFi. I only allowed backup by cable in the past. I forgot I made the change.Whenever I connected by cable, it triggered my laptop to backup. So when it did this with the adapter on, I concluded the adapters passed through data. I usually use a cable for internet, but had briefly turned on WiFi at the time of my testing. I forgot about that.Just about to pitch the adapters so I tested them one last time. SHOCK! ALL of them effectively allowed charging with no data transfer at all.I realized then I had my WiFi on during testing and assumed the adapters were passing data--when it was simply coming over WiFi, NOT through my USB connecting cable. So my previous testing was invalid. Doing it properly, I found these adapters work perfectly and are well made.Again, my apology for my earlier one star review, happy to give it a full 5 stars!
