I've started taking fish oil supplements for health support, as I've been performing higher intensity and longer exercise sessions at the gym. I've tried other brands of Omega-3 supplements in the past, but this one really is the best in terms of cost and quality! I generally take 3 capsules with a meal with some type of fat in it to support better digestion of the oils. It is vital that with this or any other product that you take it with a meal containing a fat to help better absorb it. The pills are not too large, and they offer a large amount of DHA and EPA, so people who do intensive workout training can reach daily levels of Omega-3 supplementation. If you aren't an athlete, and just looking for general supplementation, you can definitely take less than the recommended amount, which will make the product last much longer! The capsules have no fishy or oily smell. The capsules come very well packaged in a sealed bottle. One issue I have found with this Omega-3 supplement, as well as with every other I've tried, is that it does cause Fishy tasting burps. I've found that freezing the capsules and taking them right out of the freezer helps prevent this side effect from happening. Over all i'd highly recommend this product as an Omega-3 supplementation for athletes, and for your general health.
