I would certainly give it a try. Ive used it my windscreen where the seal has perished. works great. Not sure how easy it is to remove. Might use on my shower when the glass has broken free of the old mastic. Bought it to fix the rainscreen back into the car doors. Perfect.

Good Stuff

Used this to repair a inner door lining on my car which wasn’t stuck down properly allowing a little water leak, easy to apply and stuck the lining down very well so fingers crossed no more leak.

Sticky, sticky.....

I usually buy a mastic based sealant to seal my Motorhome roof windows, after a recommendation from a friend I looked at the Butyl strips as an alternative, the other 'Named' brands were a 5 meter roll for roughly the same cost as this item but this one has 10 meters on the roll so better value straight away.Still a bit sceptical, I installed the tape on the roof and Ohh my word, it sticks, I mean, it really sticks, when you use this you only get one chance to get it right, so be precise and certain you have everything lined up correctly.The window has been fitted and it has sealed perfectly, there was heavy rain that evening and there were no leaks at all.Highly recommend this tape and I certainly won't be going back to the mastics.

Great product but horrible to use

Bought the putty to put a couple of recycled caravan windows into my barn. Putty is very adhesive and stretchy which makes it good at its job (keeping water out) by a horrible to use. That said I'd use it again

Great for boat window frames

Used to reseal the aluminium window frames to our GRP boat. Worked very well and now we don't have any leaks!Be careful not to let the putty contact anything else in the process as once it sticks to something else, it ends in a big mess!!! Also when dropping the frames back in, you only really get one chance - so make sure its aligned exactly.A big advantage is once the window frame is back in place, its water tight - no need to wait for it to cure like other sealants.

Easy to use doesn't set in the tube doesn't make a huge mess to clean up. Sticks very well. A great alternative to sickaflex on non load baring joins
