You Are My Sunshine

I enjoy books set in the WW2 era and the title of this book appealed to me. When I first started reading it I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. However, I didn't realise women were involved in the barrage balloons during the war and the more I read the more I enjoyed it. It is about four girls who meet up in the WAAFs who have volunteered for balloons. Each has a different story to tell and I found the book interesting and enjoyable. Katie Flynn certainly did a lot of research for this book and I learnt a lot from it too. I would certainly recommend this book.

Great book by a great author

A good war time romance.

I bought this book for my mum who is a big Katie Flynn fan, she loved it. Although she did tell me she had already read it as this was a reprint, but she enjoyed reading it again.

Good value, bought as a pressy so can't comment on the content.
